Foreign Intelligence Agencies must act now to save PNG from Anarchy

It is interesting to read Sam Basil's poor and clumsy attempts to justify himself from the now increasingly famous debacle of MONEY LAUNDERING that he and Belden and Boito engaged in. When the light of truth is shone on previously dark places, the cockroaches scurry looking for hiding places. The revelations of money laundering were previously unknown ( although Belden Namah is always handing out huge amounts of cash every second week) until the Malaysian and Indonesian Transnational Crimes Units and Intelligence Agencies cried foul. This matter is no longer a rumor that has been written off. Other intelligence agencies are already on to it for obvious reasons.

In today's world we have so many threats upon the orderly functioning of capitalist democracies. Democracies like ours are targeted deliberately to create the chaos that is necessary to assert a new order. The new order is not necessarily democratic and not necessarily capitalist. Even America with the famous ideals of capitalism, a bill of rights guaranteeing every man the inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, is currently under threat from Terrorism. We have seen what Terrorism can do next door to us with the Bali Bombings. We have the most populous Muslim nations at our doorsteps. We have seen the Twin Towers crumble on our TV screens, that ghastly act of cruelty that we have seen over and over again on our screens. It is a little known fact but the terrorists in the Twin Towers bombings moved huge amounts of cash right under our noses through Fiji.

The tenets of Terrorism and its web of cash has spread all over the world, and especially in otherwise once peaceful capitalist countries of the world like certain democratic parts of Africa. Terrorism acts in places like Nigeria are becoming a norm.

There is another reason why huge sums of cash are being moved, legitimately and illegitimately around the globe. It is for buying spheres of influence and subjugation of other nations and their peoples. Through the front door comes Aid moneys as a legitimate method of subjugation. However, through the back door, huge amounts of cash are being transacted through shady means, including flying huge amounts of currency into countries to buy political and economic power so that the recipients are forever beholden to their backers. We have seen this happens in places like South America where the US backed guerrillas had US Dollars and arms flown in to destabilize the existing regimes, to take over countries. In the wake of Irangate and the ensuing Congressional Hearings, Col. Oliver North delivered a chilling account of the operations he undertook. It is there for all to read and understand what really goes on.

Papua New Guinea has been fortunate in our 36 years of existence not to suffer the scourge of any of that. But perhaps that has now changed. Perhaps we are witnessing  the tip of the ice berg of something more sinister about to happen.

Both Terrorism and the quest for spheres of influence require huge amounts of cash carried across international borders. The money cannot be brought through the normal banking system because too many questions will be asked. By law a person cannot bring more than a certain amount of cash in or out without bank clearances. That sum is less than K100,000.

The incident with the Indonesian Military Fighter Jets with the Falcon Jet is only the tip of the iceberg. No one has told us the real facts and I have a feeling we will never know. There was definitely a cover up by Namah, Boito and Sam Basil, until they realized that a certain photograph existed of them landing with the bag of money. That photo was about to come out. So Belden had to do a song and dance, and like a good soldier, he had to shoot first, before he gets shot. He thought he was shooting the Indonesians, but instead he shot his own foot! OOOps! Well he never saw action in Bougainville, and for all his tough soldier talk, he never killed anyone in his life.(Just as well). He is an overgrown bully, with more cents than sense, that's all he is. The incongruity of his threats to sack the Indonesian Ambassador had us all squirming and cringing in our seats. We knew there was more to it. Then to cap it off, the threat to sack the purported Prime Minister...now we knew definitely, there must be a huge fire because the smoke was coming thick and fast. When the smoke has settled, and Peter O'Neill telling Belden to pull his head in or he will give the game away, it all fizzled, when Belden realized he acted like a bully, and endangered everything by shooting first. The Indonesian and Malaysians have behaved so honourably throughout. They have the intelligence, the financial information on the source of funds and they have been watching and waiting to see how far this Namah soldier was going to go. 

Presumably this huge amount of money was brought in ( not necessarily all on the famous flight), to force a change of government, buy off all government agencies, buy off the loyalty of all the commanders of the Defence and Police Forces, and do whatever it is to hold on to government at all costs after the Supreme Court Decision. This spells serious danger for PNG!

The questions one would ask include:
1. Where did the money come from?
2.Did it come from China?
3. Is this dirty drugs and gambling money?
4. Since Belden's little logging businesses couldn't generate this sort of cash, is this money from Terrorists using logging as cover?
5. Is this money from certain corporations who want to benefit from our resources through chaos and instability?
6. Is this money from India interfering in our sovereignty?
7. Is this money from Indonesia playing a double game? [It cant be Malaysian money because they already have all they want fro PNG]
8. Has Namah disclosed all his assets and cash assets to the Ombudsman?
9. Has Namah paid his taxes?
10. When was the last tax audit done on Namah?
11. Has Namah declared his foreign income and assets to IRC and the Ombudsman?
12. If these are legitimate funds why hasn't Namah & Co brought it all in thru the normal banking Channels?
13. Namah hands out great amounts of cash, we have the laws dealing with extra-ordinary amounts of cash. Can he account to us where it all comes from?
14. Logs and Forests are owned by Tribes, not individuals, what are the arrangements that allows one man to control and deal with the wealth of a community?
15. What is the Transnational Crimes Unit doing about all this?
16. Are these funds to buy MPs and defeat the democratic processes of PNG?

It would appear that these funds have successfully destabilized our politics and our law enforcement agencies. Even the US Presidential Candidates don't get to spend that sort of cash to win their elections. This sort of cash must be for a bigger prize. Our Sovereignty and our Resources. That being the case, our democratic institutions are definitely under threat. This regime clearly does not have any regard for the sanctity of our courts and their decisions. The coming elections will be a huge farce, and we may even have blood on the streets.

PNG is definitely at the cross roads of Anarchy and people adamant to hi-jack it for their own selfish purposes. The old dynamics of a relationship with Australia and NZ are definitely on the way out. O'Neill knows how to charm Julia Gillard and keep her entertained, but he has other things in mind.

The intelligence agencies of Australia, NZ, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia must now act in concert with other Agencies to revel the whole story and publish it innocuously for all of us in PNG to know and see what the plans of these people are, for the sake of democracy and the rule of law, and the future of the good unsuspecting people of PNG.

Australia and New Zealand have no choice in this matter, and in this connection we urge the United Sates, the relevant UN Agencies to view this as an open invitation from and on behalf of the people of PNG to intervene and reveal to all of us in PNG, and the world at large what is really going on.

If you don't, and any of your citizens or commercial interests are endangered, then you will rue the day you did not take this open invitation seriously.

I call on all citizens of this nation to keep a keen eye on the developments in this country. We are moving away from being a democracy to being a Totalitarian State with what is going on. The essential signs are here already. We have been sold to the dogs. 

Those who are religious need to get on their knees and pray seriously for this nation. What is going on is an abomination to the Christian God.
