Solicitor General Devete & co conspired with law firm to rip claimant

Its good to talk about Judges Onecountry but the public should also be made aware of whats really going on in our high office of  Solicitor General Mr Neville Devete

Firstly, he never turns up at work. He does not do 8-4:06 job as a public servant. For last 4 weeks he has never been in his office once for 8-4 pm work, unless the Minister called for him.

Secondly, he never never answers telephone calls. He has no office manners of a High Constitutional Office Holder.

Thirdly, he never responds to correspondence, and if he does its after 6 months has passed.

Fourthly, he has a system of corruption going that he has organized so nicely that I discovered recently when I kept going back to his office to solve my case.

I am a small time road contractor from Simbu. I sacrificed public service job 20 years ago to go home try politics, and live in the village. I started a small contracting company with one truck, and grew to become a sizable contractor employing over 50 people. I had a case against the State 9 years ago and this has led me to Mr Neville Devete  . I have a National court Judgement against the State.

He has failed to endorse my Court Judgement to get paid. My Lawyers have been coming and going for past 5 years and have cost me all my savings. I had to lay off all my workers except family members. I have travelled back and forth between Goroka and Port Moresby over 15 times on this matter.

I came down 4 weeks ago living with friends and at guest houses and it is most demoralizing for me. Yes I did go to University. I did get a degree like Mr Neville Devete . I have served the State well. Now I have been a father to over 50 families and working the land. I have lost all that because this guy and his friends decide that they are Gods and some of us have to bow down and crawl to him.

Please can someone do something about this?

Just last week I was told that my matter ( with several Million Kina owing) cannot be signed off by Mr Nevette unless I see Mr Richard Wagambie of Wagambie Lawyers and enter into a fee arrangement with him. I was told this by a very senior officer in that office. Other sources have since confirmed that Mr Neville Devete  and his two senior officers just under him use Wagambie Lawyers to get their cut on all dealings. I was told to sack my lawyers and go to Wagambie Lawyers and the matter will be settled.

I became so sick after that. I felt like throwing up. I went back to the guest house and just slept.

When I woke up, I thought, yes 5 tears ago when I had all the workers there and contracts to complete, I may have been pragmatic and done it. But today, I have lost my business, my equipment sold off or rusted. My workers all left, with me owing them money. My kids out of school. I am also a grand father now. I am faced with a couple of young guys, one an Engan called Mr Kandi who is the power broker or money broker behind Neville Devete  I am told.

I don't know what is true and what are lies. All I want is to get my one single sheet of paper signed by Mr Neville Devete .

Why is it taking him so long to do this? Why must I and my family, and my workers suffer because of this apparent neglect of duty, to hide a corrupt little system these young guys are running. I dont know how many other people are victims to this but can someone stop it?

Dr Allan Marat where are you my brother. I have known you on the Aussie Rules field many years ago. Can you jump and take the mark I am kicking, come down and crush the dirty little rats?  Set us and this country free from corruption under your nose. Check how many cases is Wagambie Lawyers handling for Neville Devete  and how much money has been paid out to them. Thats a start.

I have read the contents of the post raising serious allegations against the solicitor General and his deputy and our firm. For your information our firm and few others act on brief out matters and we have carriage of almost 60 land taxation matters including others that are very contentious that involves habitual litigants like Kera. I know who Kera is. In fact Kera has offered K200,000.00 to our firm as bribe money if we agreed to have his land taxation matter taxed and certified. We stood by our principle and told Kera to piss off, Kera may have tried the same with the solicitor General and his deputy and we believe was told to also piss off and go through the taxation procedure. Kera for your information as long as we act on behalf of the state and the 7million people of papua new guinea, I can assure you that you will never get one 5toea for your corrupt claim. We work hard to get to where we are and your comment has harmed our reputation and we are prepared to take you on in a legal suit. If you have any problem with your matter in which we have carriage on behalf if the state, you should approach us and talk to us rather then to go behind pen names in a social network like this
Kera your allegation of fee arrangement with my firm is just way off, how can I enter into a fee arrangement with you when I act for the state? It would amount to conflict of interest if I do and for your information, I've never done fee arrangement as you alleged for the entire life of my practice for the 12years of my practice as a Lawyer. I cannot speak for the solicitor General and his Lawyers but if you have any problem with their actions or inactions, you should refer that to the secretary for justice or the Attorney General for appropriate action. If your taxed bill has not been paid, well apply for the court for enforcement. You've jumped the gun by coming to this social networking to tarnish the reputation of the solicitor general and his staff and my firm. In any event I request that you attend at my office and ask to speak to me after you have read my reply and I will see how I can help you if I act on behalf of the state in a matter in which you are the claimant. To the pngblogs administratoe may I suggest that you assess the contents of future commentaries before you publish it as this one is definitely highly defamatory

  2. Kera should take the issue up with Secretary for Justice. It is a matter for administrative action. Cheers.
