PNG: AUSTRALIA'S INTELLIGENCE FAILURE

To- Papua New Guinea, and whoever else around the world reading this site, What we are witnessing in the Constitutional crisis, the smashing of our Constitution and our Judiciary, the rise of this illegitimate government led by Peter ONeill and Belden Namah is the result of:

1. Serious intelligence failure by the Australian Government, and lack of proper analysis of events and consequences,  which culminated in Julia Gillard and her government's recognition of Peter ONeill and Belden Namah government. That recognition by Gillard has now given birth to so much illegitimacy, democracy has been flushed down the toilet.

PNG today represents one of Australia's most embarrassing foreign policy blunders!

2. Gillard has to ask who in the PNG High Commission and in Canberra gave her the brief to recognize ONeill- while the Supreme Court of PNG was sitting on the question of legitimacy? Heads must roll within the Australian top bureaucracy!

3. The United States, and to a lesser extent Europe, expects Australia to conduct its diplomacy in the Pacific to maintain and develop democracy, not promote despotic dictators and military States. The Commercial interests of the US in Exxon Mobil and those of Europe and other countries are at stake.

Once again these events show Australia does not really understand PNG and that its ignorance and lack of proper analysis of events has put many lives and economic interests of so many at risk.

Australia plays wedge politics in PNG and plays one regime against another all the time in PNG. This time it got it terribly wrong. Australia has backed the wolves, and the wolves are eating up the country! Julia Gillard is part and partial of this ONeill-Namah government.

We are carefully monitoring what she will do next.

Australia in controlling and manipulating the Ombudsman and Transparency International's silence over the ONeill- Namah government's illegitimacy, their destruction of our Judiciary, destruction of our Parliament and our Constitution,  no longer has any credibility with the small people on the ground.

The lamb are silent while the wolves run amok.

  2. It might be that Australian intelligence supported the removal of Somares. Their agenda was very clear with Aus AID funding OC and other outfits under the Law and Justice Sector. What they probably did not anticipate was O'Namah Group turning into dictatorship. It is now very dangerously poised to be a dictatorship that has no respect for constitutional supremacy, rule of law and due process. In 9 months dictator has been conceived. Australia can help by insisting on national election to be held on time.

  3. Australia only sees PNG as a potential competitor and will always half heartedly commit to PNG's developmental aspiration. They will just do enough to ensure PNG does not become a failed state thus mitigating the risk of 7 million PNG boat people.
Now I say fuck the Australians!

    1. Rather than pointing fingers or shifting blame, we should share the blame as our leaders have knowingly allowed this to happen.

  5. The guy who broke ranks is Don Pomb Polye. He is no saint. Indeed his characteristics as a leader resembles those of Lucifer. He found able demons like characters in JN and BN to complete is mission rausim Somares. He is SDA but honors were reserved for PO. What a shame! Now that we know Australia should not be wholely blamed for all and sundry. Our leaders must show they have guts for PNG. Otherwise let go and get out making way for new blood to lead us.
