CHANGING OF LEADERSHIP IS NOT A NATIONAL INTEREST

By John Kerenga Gugl

Ladies and Gentlemen, Observes and Critics, Visitors and Friends, Media Organizations and everyone.

It is my pleasure to disseminate the truth to my lovely people of this great nation. I believe everyone shouldn't distracted or fooled themselve from this trivial political events that currently unfolded at Waigani

The fact remain the fact is, what unfolded at waigani is merely "Waigani politics" and none is of significant greater beneficial to our people around this country

Weather who becomes the Prime Minister or Opposition leader is absolutely immaterial and insignificant to the people of this great nation.

Our leaders both in the Government and Opposition are continue to fight in a country where the system is not working for our people.

So the question are:
1. Whose interests are they always trying to remove or kill each other at the wrong constitutional timing?

2. Is their fight will be benefiting or setting us free from our financial oppression and imprisonment faced by the 90% of the population in this country?

I believe the answer is no and no.

One can see all the sweet talks of affordable changes n prosperity is another version of 1975 rhetoric melody of political independence. Our mothers and fathers and 'bubus since 1975 were continue to hear the preaches of greater prosperity but none had enjoyed the promises turned dreams and most have gone and few are still with us but the hope is still in vain to this date.

We are now continuing the same journey of pain and agony. Most of our mothers still carrying garden produces(cash crops) and walking miles and miles, hours and hours or even days and nights to access the main market to make ends meet for their beloved ones is just another unforgettable experiences in the modern history.

The general life style of our people in both rural villages n urban settlements in this resources rich country is a real nightmare. For instance most of our mothers painfully sending their beloved children to the bed without decent meal is another real heart breaking scenario of teardrops is the end product of waigani politics.

Therefore changes of any leadership like now opposition are fighting is no longer national interest. Its for their own gain, pride, power and moni.

So why are we jumping up n down as if the system is working for the people and not for the leaders.

Posting and talking too much about this trivalent event is wasting of time.

We must think big and act big outside of Waigani Political box and address the very potential threat threatening our survival and human value.

Its about time we must strategies to preempt the imminent losing of our economic powers (80% gone), political powers(50% gone) and heritage powers (commercial bus, wara, graun 60% gone). We must rise to fight to empower, strengthen and save people and this great nation.

Yumi faulfaul na toktok na kauntim stars stap moon bai lus just before our eyes just similar to Aborigines of Australia. They lost the economic, political and heritage powers and now become nobody on their own country.

Don't wait for someone from heaven to come down to save this great nation. Everyone must prepare to support the fight for this cause.
