BE AN AGENT FOR CHANGE AND CHANGE THIS BAD GOVERNMENT

by YAKAN LEPAKAILI

ACT NOW AND BE AN AGENT FOR CHANGE AND CHANGE THIS BAD GOVERNMENT FOR BETTER PNG - OR RECOVERY ROAD WILL BE LONG, HARD AND TOUGH. BE RESPONSIBLE LEADERS AND DON’T BE IRRESPONSIBLE.

Isaac Lupari (the Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Peter O’Neil), Dairi Vele (Secretary to Treasury Department) and Loi Bakani (Governor of Central Bank of Papua New Guinea), the trio are highly educated and most learned people in this era. They are of venerating career and distinguished people revered for contributing immensely to the country’s developments.

Given their expertise in the economy, since the down turn of PNG’s economy and its continued downward slide, people like Paul Flanagan of ANU projects the gloomy outlook of PNG’s economy with comprehensive comparative tables and all these analysis never been challenged.

In bewilderment, what’s intriguing is, none of the above trios, in their rebuttals, had the guts to rebut line by line and graph by graph. In Paul’s recent article title, “PNG – Pathways for Potential Crisis”. Read more @ http://www.pngblogs.com/…/png-pathways-from-potential-crisi….

No nonsense P. Flanagan’s constructive critics and analysis have been fallen by the wayside and never took heed by GoPNG and evidently the country is at the economic cross-road and GoPNG is on crisis management mood.

P. Flanagan has published the following articles, “Falling LNG revenues require a new strategy for the PNG economy” another article titled, “PNG 2015 Budget analysis: dealing with debt and deficits” and yet another article titled, “Using the central bank to finance PNG’s deficit is a slippery slope”. All these and more can be accessed at, http://www.businessadvantagepng.com/author/paul-flanagan/ for more in depth construing. For reading more of Flanagan’s articles on the state of PNG’s economy, visit https://www.google.com.pg/?gws_rd=cr%2Cpaul+flanagan+pn.

It appears best economic advice was available but time and again ignored best expert advice on the economic front resulting in suicidal economic decisions. Foolish decisions are costing this country immensely.
The country under corrupt Peter O’Neil’s leadership is sinking and sinking fast. Current members in this term of Parliament don’t need a wakeup call. Sign is visible and audible for a decisive stand. All 110, exclusion of PM, forgo perks and privileges and patriotic about the country and be an agent for change for better PNG.
Country is counting on you now and this is the time to make the anticipated change to occur.

Should the tyranny of PO regime is allowed to continue; institutions of state will become dysfunctional. Independence of state agencies will be compromised. Tenets of judiciary and justice sector will disintegrate and in fact it is fast eroding. Economy and resources will be depleted until PO draws the last straw. The road ahead will be long, hard and tough to rebuild the economy. May be not in this life time but next generation or generation after next.

Come on members of Parliament, PNG is bigger than PO. Rise and shine for the NOBLE course and give Papua New Guinea the PROMINENCE, not Peter O’Neil.
