NCD REGIONAL UPDATE - NUMBER DONT ADD UP, PARKOP SUPPORTERS DEMAND DECLARATION WITHOUT ELIMINATION

Counting / Elimination has been suspended this morning (around 7:00am) due to a serious discrepancy on the tally of the main scoreboard.  Assistant Election Manager (AEM) Mr Bale Kavanamur has said that Quality Checks ought to be done again in the presence of all Scrutineers.

1) It is very clear that one of the AEM in the counting room has sold his soul already whilst the AEM is honest and wants to carry out exclusion process TRANSPARENTLY.

2) Further to this the Tally on the scoreboard does not add up. It is a total chaos as a result of the foul play that has occured during the counting process. There are counting officials who have been bought off by a candidate - they were hiding my ballot papers plus other candidates ballot papers underneath the ballot papers of a candidate of their preference and summed up the numbers of first preferential votes as if all of those ballot papers were for that one particular candidate.

3) Last night at exclusion no.15 as regional candidate Francis Tanga was eliminated Scrutineers discovered that approx 2,000 of his ballot papers were missing. Tanga's tally on the main scoreboard was short by 2,000. This implies that one of the Counting official does not want the 2000 x 2nd preferential votes of Tanga to be distributed to the other Candidates who are still in the race.

4) This NCD Regional Election has become a farce. It has gone beyond the point of serious electoral fraud. This is now a joke! And I mean that because tally is a mess in the counting room. I believe it's reached a point where we need properly trained statisticians to correct what has gone wrong! What is the guarantee that the other previously excluded candidates over the past two shifts had their 2nd preferential votes hidden away or deliberately ommitted from the scoreboard.

5) Watch this space......more info will be provided as/when I recieved more evidence from the Scrutineers of other candidates who we are working very closely with.

MARAPE & PAITA ABOUT TO SIGN AWAY PNG GOLD

The court ruled that MRDC's appeal was an "abuse of process" and ordered the company to pay costs of the proceedings. MRDC, a unit holder in PBF, had taken legal action against the National Court's decision to dismiss its case, arguing that the court had no jurisdiction to hear the matter.
