Polye Is But a Sounding Cymbal:

Image
By  Fasa Gima Stanley David I will highlights some very important personal views below and I hope nobody will take my view as political gimmick...well if you do so, it's your right as well as my right of freedom of expression. Firstly , we must know that Ignorance is one of the master killer of life's fabric of connections and survival. Below are some of Polye's ignorances that matters most to us the people that he boostfully represent and connections to his style of leadership (People's Connections to Polye's Leadership) For transparency sake, and as far as I know, let me tell my readers that few of the services delivered by our local MP are devalued and DSIP and Ministerial money were less used and I don't know where DSIP money most went...He was the minister all these 10 donkey years and nothing is shown in Kandep...If Sam Basil, a opposition MP can change Bulolo, whats wrong with our MP...!!? There is nothing that Justifies Mr Polye's existence

Is Don Polye the Saviour of our country

Image
by ETE BRUTE As a civil engineer, in th e portfolio of Minister for Works/Transport, (that he held for more than eight years) is where Polye had his chance to shine for his people and Papua New Guinean the vibrancy of his leadership. However, to many he was rather disappointing. It’s been mooted, that he “…failed to address the deteriorating condition of the transport system…” when he had the portfolio. Certainly, despite many years with copious amounts of money, he’s also failed to build the Wasa Bridge in Kandep many believed of what he preached would bee the longest and the biggest bridge in the country. Polye is a cunning politician.  He speaks bullshits and make people live in fantasy. In is own electorate of Kandep he promised Winja in his Marrieent LLG as Paradise, Kokas his mother’s place as small America, and wasa bridge to be a floading bridge. He is a big mouth for nothing. I think he is only a talker, riding on his confidence all along. Numerous opportunities hav

OPEN LETTER TO DON POLYE - "You are one of the few who understand that in excess of K100M – maybe as high as K500M – is missing and unaccounted for in the UBS loan alone"

Congratulations, Mr Polye, on winning the re-count for Kandep district!  We realise sinister political forces were at work to bring about the re-count.  Thankfully you won. PNG needs your leadership now like never before.  As you know we are currently saddled with a limping-along economy that is likely due to corrupt government.  The eyes of all Papua New Guineans are on you to take the lead in challenging the O’Neill administration.       One year ago in the October 8, 2015 edition of the Post Courier you were spot on in your claim that the PNG LNG funds were being parked in an account in Singapore, and not in the Bank of PNG as claimed by the O’Neill administration.  Thank you for bringing that to the light of day. You can’t rest now.  You need to continue to hammer away and demand transparency of  government finances.  In particular you need to focus on the UBS loan, now rolled into a Credit Suisse loan.  Secondly you need to demand full disclosure of the PNG LNG income.

CONSPIRACY OR COINCIDENCE?

NIUGINI OUTLOOK FIRST, THE ONLY NON-PNC MP OF WESTERN PROVINCE WAS DEPOSED. POLYE IS NOW FIGHTING ELECTORAL FRAUD ALLEGATIONS. NAMAH IS FIGHTING A LEADERSHIP TRIBUNAL. NOW SOMARE'S REPUTATION IS BEING DESTROYED BEFORE THE EYES OF THE NATION.  Meanwhile, Peter O'Neill is off the hook. So is Vagi. So is Pala. In fact, over the past few weeks, one case after another against Peter O'Neill and his cronies have been dismissed in court. Our PM is victorious! He and his cronies now are given the appearance of being squeaky clean, while there seems to be a systematic attempt to depose of each and every one of the PM's principal opponents and get rid of other non-PNC MPs before the election, focusing on what for all outward appearances, appear to be very real corruptions by Somare, Polye, O'Neill, etc etc. Maybe it's all coincidence. Hmm? Why did the Supreme Court so quickly manage to act on the Vote of No Confidence, showing what they are capable of doing,

FOOLISH JUDGEMENT COSTING STATE MUCH NEEDED MONEY

Image
by LEKEM LAKI SHORT SIGHTED WITH NO BENEFIT AND COST ANALYSIS LEADING TO FOOLISH JUDGEMENT COSTING STATE MUCH NEEDED MONEY. I write to express my disgust and disapproval on the controversial judgement by a learned judge who presided over the election petition case between Hon. Don Pomb Polye and Alfred Luke Manase. The judgement is thought provoking, illogical, unmerited and senseless decision in totality. Compare and contrast the statistics courtesy of electoral commission and do a benefit and cost analysis of the episode of recount. Does it warrant such a judgement? Not merely the timing factor but the decision that is of no great benefit to the state at the crucial time when the country is rattled with gross mismanagement of country’s economy and proliferation of massive corruption courtesy of ruthless regime of PO. According to Electoral Commissioner Gamato’s testament, he needs three quarter of a million Kina (K850, 000.00) to do the recounting. In those disputed boxes, the t

IS PNC INTACT? -THE INSIDE TRACK ON A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE - PART 2

by BRYAN KRAMER This Part 2 of a two part series providing an insight into the looming vote of no confidence (VNC) against Peter O'Neill planned by the Opposition during the current session of Parliament. Part 1 covered the constitutional and procedural process that must be followed before Parliament may consider a VNC. To recap, the Constitution (section 145) stipulates that a motion of VNC may be proposed by any member of Parliament; however it must name the next Prime Minister, be signed by no less than 12 MPs, and give no less than one week’s notice in accordance with the standing orders of Parliament. Standing Orders stipulate the notice of VNC must be delivered to the Speaker of Parliament and tabled before Private Business Committee on a Wednesday to determine the motion is of national importance. It must then be delivered to Clerk of Parliament to be listed on the Notice Paper on a Thursday sitting (Private Business Day). This article will discuss ho

IS PNC INTACT? -THE INSIDE TRACK ON A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE

Image
by BRYAN KRAMER A hot political issue right now is the looming vote of no confidence against the O'Neill Government. It's an issue I have been tracking for some time and carried out a degree of research into. So will the Opposition succeed? Well it may not succeed in changing the Government but it may initiate a course of action that just succeed in removing Peter O'Neill as the head of the Government. On October 12, Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare dropped a political bombshell announcing he had tendered his resignation from the National Alliance Party. It was reported Somare was concerned about how the economy was being mismanaged. He could not remain in the Party that supported the O'Neill Government and what he termed as the habitual illegal and negligent actions of Peter O'Neill as the Prime Minister. Somare's decision fuelled speculations that a vote of no confidence against O'Neill was imminent. Peter O'Neill was quick to res

GARRY BAKI ARROGANT, RUTHLESS, AUDACIOUS AND CORRUPT

by YAKAN LEPAKAILI  GARRY BAKI ARROGANT, RUTHLESS, AUDACIOUS AND CORRUPT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN THE POST-MODERN ERA IN PNG POLITICS. I can’t allow corrupt police Commissioner Baki’s action to terminate the services of two career officers go unchallenged. I understand the sacked officers have instituted court challenge and the public is yet to know the outcome of that court challenge but I am disgusted by the absurdity of the corrupt Baki’s unthinkable actions. He alleged that duet officers were sacked for insubordination and I suppose insubordination does not constitute sacking unless insubordination is somewhat ongoing warranting such an action. The faceless face of infamous corrupt commissioner Baki is telling. He is hell-bent to do what it takes to deliver the corrupt, ruthless and totalitarian regime of O’Neil and his cohorts whose fate is hanging in the balance by the mercy of court. An insider at police headquarters published on PNGBLOGS an article titled “Political

Combining Corrupt Rulers, False Prophets, Ungodly Priests and Judges Bought with Bribes

by YAKAN LEPAKAILI Combining Corrupt Rulers, False Prophets, Ungodly Priests and Judges Bought with Bribes – Foolishness Prevails and People Perish: We are world apart in terms of time line but similarities make PNG no unique on contrast. I make this comparison in the light of unprecedented level of corruption and proliferation of gross misuse and abuse unhindered by politicians and bureaucrats at massive scale contrasting with successive governments. Corrupt rulers (both politicians & bureaucrats), false prophets, ungodly priests and paying bribes to Judges were norm during the reign of King Jotham (739 - 731 B.C) in the ancient past can’t be ignored as historical facts for school of thought. Corruption riddled infamous O’Neil regime is well and truly aided by members of the judiciary adding new dimension in the fight against corruption and in so doing, institutionalising corruption and weakening the agency’s (Fraud Squad) efforts to fight corruption whilst minority few (OC,

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HIGH LEVEL INVESTIGATION INTO MONEY LAUNDERING BY YOUNG & WILLIAM LAWYERS?

PNG Government To Investigate Lawyers’  Undercover video on Australian TV alleges bribery PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea (The National, June 26, 2015) – The Government will set up a high-powered team to investigate comments by two senior lawyers on ways that suspect funds could be transferred to Australia to bribe Papua New Guinean politicians. It will consist of senior officials from the Bank of PNG, the Justice Department, the Prime Minister’s Department, the Immigration Department, the police and the National Executive Council. Announcing this yesterday, Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Isaac Lupari said a number of serious claims had been aired on television that related to statements by Greg Sheppard and Harvey Maladina to an undercover operative who filmed the conversations secretly. "The video has since gone viral on social media leading to rumours and innuendo," he said and indicated that the investigation would begin soon. He also said that all government cases be
