by STEVEN TEMO Imbongu MP and Works Minister, Francis Awesa is up to his old tricks, in an attempt to split votes from the Undiri side of the Imbongu Electorate he has decided to put a fake candidate to split votes going the way of Steven Temo, Nick Yambu and pilot and businessman James Pima, Jerry David walked into Walum District Office on Wednesday afternoon, 26th April 2017 to nominate. He was looking scruffy, escorted by a lady and not even a single group of supporters. He walked into the District Office and than disappeared after he received a mysterious phone call from somewhere. Then out of the blue he mobilizes a 15 vehicles and hires a crowd to travel with him the next day to Walum District Office to nominate on Thursday 27th April 2017. WORKS MINISTER'S BACKYARD EARLY VOTE BUYING SCHEME EXPOSED

by NOLPI BUKA The Member for Imbongu and Minister for Works Francis Awesa has consolidated his village support by engaging in early vote buying to ensure base votes from his village of Kiburu and surrounding areas are locked in come election day next year. The Imbongu District Administration under the guise of road improvements have approved questionable road improvement projects based around the Works Minister’s home village. Most of this road projects are non-existent or work not done payment for the MPs village of Kiburu and two neighbouring hamlets were done to ensure his tribesmen would have no choice but to cast their votes at Kiburu. This was done to ensure the two Ballot Boxes earmarked for Kiburu were fully exhausted by his support base. by NAIK MALCOLM I as an Imbongu Citizen Would like to call for Mr Francis Awesa to Step Down.  This is to the Works and Implementation Minister Mr Awesa, How much lives have you saved from the tribal fights in Southern Highlands Province. How much securities have you provide for those who suffered in the name of tribal fight.   Mr Awesa has saved no live in the most tribal fights in Southern Highlands Province. Yet, Mr Awesa is asking the VC to save the lives of the students during the time of trouble while the poor VC and the Unitech administration trying their very best to protect the students.   And Mr Awesa should be blamed for the death of the student because Mr Awesa as an Imbongu MP, he did not take responsibility to warn his student to return to class when the tension is very high.  Mr Awesa even failed to send police to protect the Imbongu students when he knew that his students are at risk in the campus.
