PNGBlogs L&A Constructions are Luciano Cragnolini, Nee Cragnolini & their strange sleeping partner & bedfellow in our one and only Peter O'Neill. The ridiculous Parliament tiles over pebbles job is nothing compared to what other stunts they have pulled and are pulling all over the place in PNG. Luciano & Nee Cragnolini were in the right place at the right time to do Peter O'Neill special favors when he was just a senior Minister in Somare’s Cabinet. Nee Cragnolini in particular saw in Peter O'Neill what her husband couldnt see. And so she is one woman who needs to be credited with having the eye to the future in that family. These days, when her children question what she seeing in O'Neill, even O'Neill as Prime Minister is out to protect Nee’s vision of what was, what is, and what could be.There is a strange case of one of Nee’s step sons questioning Peter ONeill’s deep commitment to the family a few months ago at Airways, you should have seen the P

Will there an opportunity for Belden Namah to serve 7 million Papua New Guineans?

Image
By David Ephraim I have come to notice growing misconceptions and wrong assumptions against current Papua New Guinean Opposition Leader Hon. Belden Namah. The idea that he is a dictatorial type, a danger to democracy and rule of law and other things some people write about him is totally baseless and unconvincing based on his performance as politician. Until events in 2011, Hon. Belden Namah was never given an opportunity to lead Papua New Guinea as Prime Minister. Although he was then Deputy Prime Minister under O’Neill/Namah government he never took the opportunity to pursue further up. Instead he remained contained with what he hoped to achieve, working within the domain of democracy to correct many flaws by so-called political stability - when decades of opportunities were lost to political weakness that allowed tribal systemic corruption to creep in to destroy the very opportunity to turn growth in social progress for 7 million people of Papua New Guinea. Pacific Games contract brings more rumours of corruption

PNG Exposed Blog We believe that the focus here should not be China Harbor Engineering Company. They are here to make money, by whatever means. We should instead scrutinise the actions of our leaders involved in the awarding of the contract, beginning of course with Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and Sports Minister Justin  Tkatchenko  Given the bad or negative profiles of these Chinese companies how on earth did we give out such contracts. If there were any tender procedural issues or bending or breaking of our Public Finance Management Act then these two leaders are to be among those people we need to question . What’s in it for them? K73 million? Rumours are being circulated almost on a daily basis but no-one has come out to disprove or confirm them. To me it stinks when our leaders have been brought into question by their actions – whether genuine or not, the perception remains in our mind that something or someone stinks somewhere. Whilst Prime Minister Peter O’Neill’s anti-corrupt
