By GEORGE KAPINIAS On the 11th of February 2014, 2pm, Paul Paraka was suppose to appear before the Waigani National Court before Justice Catherine Davani as a Defendant in the K71.8million that was paid to his firm and other firms he nominated . These payments were illegal and the manner in which the payments were approved and executed is now the center of investigation because the Prime Minister Right Hon. Peter O’Neill, Finance Minister Hon. James Marape and Treasury Minister Hon. Don Polye are allegedly involved. Unfortunately the matter was not listed for hearing on that day (11/02/2014) because of reasons only Justice CATHERINE DAVANI knows. The Judge could have been threatened or she could have been bribed. Paraka is brought to his knees and only time will tell how much he stole from the government of PNG. By UNITECH EDUCATOR The American embassy sent their number 2 ambassador Melanie Higgins to speak at Unitech 2 weeks ago. This was almost like sending Obama to give a speech supporting Bin laden! The American government must know that some higher administrators at Unitech support free speech in name only.   Yesterday a Unitech staff member Mr Ken Polin exercised his constitutional right of free speech by speaking peacefully in front of administration to few hundred students and staff.   This speech was reported by EMTV news yesterday evening. What was not reported by EMTV was that about 15 minutes into his talk, security guards arrived and one tried to silence this man. They moved in to turn off the microphone and take away the speaker.The security guard later told students that security was called at the request of Unitech lawyer Simon Sengi. This is amazing since all legal students learn about our PNG constitution in law school. Does Mr Sengi not understand the constitutional guarante

By Concerned OHE Staff   Minister David Arore hopes to gain personally by keeping Dr Albert Schram out of PNG for good.   Mr Arore has successfully kept Prof John Pumwa, the Acting VC to do what he wants.  Through Pumwa, the other senior management of the university can be controlled.  In contrast Dr Schram would not turn the other direction and close his eyes if he saw things wrong.   Mr Arore plans to use a few simple steps to create a win win situation for himself out of Unitech Saga.    The first step in minister Arore’s evil plan is to see how much money he can make in return for keeping the Sevua report under wraps.  This is why he announced in parliament last week that he will make a decision on releasing the Sevua report only after another two weeks.  By saying 2 weeks more he is offering more time to those who were mentioned negatively in the Sevua report to pay Mr Arore to keep the report silent. This includes the likes of  former Unitech council members Philip Stagg
