IS MADANG GOVERNOR PETER YAMA ANOTHER FRAUD?

Image
by JOSEPH ANGAMAI Since taking office through Election Fraud Peter Yama has had ⚫ NO ASSEMBLY MEMBERS ⚫ NO PEC MEMBERS ⚫ All 6 District MPS , Deputy Governor and all the LLG Presidents withdrew from working with Peter Yama. Peter Yama has been dictating the Administration and holding illegal PEC meetings and moving millions of kina with the help of Madang Town Mayor, Joe Yama and 4 other LLG Presidents who resigned last year to contest the National Election. Peter Yama has NO Permanent Executive Officers because he has been hiring and firing them when they try to control his misconduct and misappropriation of public funds or disobey his orders. Right now he is dictating all the Public Service Positions by himself. To easily dictate and remove all the funds, he has all these rubber stamps. * Ben Neneo as Provincial Police Commander * Ethal Valakui as Provincial Legal Officer * John Bivi as Acting Administrator * Markus Kachau as Acting Deputy Govern

FEEDING THE HUNGRY CORRUPT OCTOPUS - CLOUDY BAY THE NEXT TARGET

Image
by JAMES PERIAP It is very interesting that Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has announced an “inquiry” into the sale of PNG Sustainable Development Program’s 100-percent-owned Cloudy Bay company, and other SDP transactions and investments. Why now? He has known about the sale for fours years and has investigated it once already, resulting in it being cleared. The reason is that he is trying once again to get his “sticky fingers” on the PNGSDP assets - $US1.3 billion in the Long-Term Fund, plus hundreds of millions of kina in cash and other investments. Cloudy Bay is one of PNGSDP’s richest assets, owning land on the outskirts of Port Moresby worth approximately K100 million. Mr O’Neill, who is known as the Octopus, desperately wants the land, and has delegated one of his criminal cronies, Chief Secretary Isaac Lupari, to look for any remotely plausible way in which it can be expropriated without payment. Illegal expropriation was the tactic used by Mr O’Neill to steal PNGSDP’s 63.4 shar

DEVELOPMENT AND ‘ECONOMIC HITMAN’ CAN OUR NEW NATIONAL TRADE POLICY ESCAPE THESE ‘LOOTERS’?

Image
by CYRIL GARE One of the greatest challenges for our new first time politicians is to acquaint themselves with and understand the country’s foreign policy among others. It is even challenging for a first-time Minister. In many democracies in the world, a first-time politician does not become a Minister immediately. The reason is obvious. He or she must first understudy and learn the trade skills of the game before taking on a ministerial responsibility in Government. Last week, we boasted about the launch of PNG’s first ever National Trade Policy (NTP). In time, many Papua New Guineans including myself will be able to read and understand the NTP from an available copy. For now, let’s just deduce from information provided in media reports that the NTP now “gives an upper hand to negotiate trade with its partners”. In essence, trade involves supply and demand; i) we supply others with what they do not have, and ii) in reciprocate buy from them what we do not have such as medicine an

Sri Lanka, the first Asian country to become the victim of China’s debt trap - Warning signs for PNG

$12 million Chinese-built Sigiri bridge in Western Kenya collapsed before it was completed. President Uhuru Kenyatta inspected the project two weeks before the collapse. by MANISH SHARMA Editor’s note: All Pacific nations need to read this story and heed the warning before it is too late. One of you could be next. SRI Lanka has been crippled under a severe debt problem. In the last decade, it has invested billions of dollars in building huge infrastructure and most of the projects haven’t yet produced any adequate returns. Sri Lankan Government is now struggling to make payments and hence facing a severe debt crunch. Sri Lanka’s total debt stands at $64bn. About a whopping 95 per cent of all government revenues go towards debt repayment. The debt to China is eight billion dollars. Many local citizens feel the country is being sold to the Chinese. The problem is that money borrowed has been seemingly squandered on infrastructure that shows no sign of turning a pro

PNGBLOGS EVERYONE WHO HAS VOTED FOR A CANDIDATE IN THE NCD REGIONAL SEAT MUST SEE THIS - PLEASE SHARE On Monday 17/July, in the Rita Flynn Court Counting Room, sometime between 6pm to 7pm, a box from Laloki (by Team 150) was opened and its content poured at one of the station for counting under the watchful eyes of all Scrutineers and international observers from the Commonwealth. The attached photos are proof that Powes Pakop has a criminal network of loyal supporters (some of whom are NCDC staff, PNGEC employees, polling officials and public servants) who will do whatever it takes to send Pakop back into our country's National Parliament at whatever cost. ALL PRE-MARKED UNFOLDED 500 x BALLOT PAPERS SEEN ON THE TABLE WRAPPED AROUND IN RUBBER BANS WERE MARKED FOR POWES PAKOP WITH THE SAME HAND WRITING. 5 Ballot Books were also found in the box. It appears someone was in a hurry and left behind vital evidence in this one particular box from Laloki. By the grace of God, the tr

by TONY SULUPIN A PNC candidate running for Lagaip Porgera open, Nathan Piari must be arrested and criminally charged for discharging firearms at the polling venue. On the 08th of July, the polling was to take place at the Kanak council Ward in the Pilikambi LLG. The four clans of Kaimul tribe unanimously agreed that due to irregularities in the common roll, they wanted to share the ballot papers among  the four clans. After signed papers were distributed by the presiding officer according to their wish, a feud erupted between Mr Piari's supporter and another within the Walyage clan over their share of 561 papers. The suspect who was armed with a pistol fired several shots at the voters injuring one elderly woman on her leg. This angered Ambai and Kulip voters hence retaliated with stones, sticks and other missiles thrown at Piari's supporters A stand-of developed into an horrific situation which saw few houses were burned down by an angry mob together with an old

SO JUST HOW MANY PNC MPS WILL RETAIN THEIR SEATS

Image
by BRYAN KRAMER I was informed when the same question was put to Prime Minister Peter O'Neill he responded more than 50. On 21st April 2017 I published part 2 of an article "Will Peter O'Neill return as PM" Where I explained that PNC were likely to return upto 15 to 20 of the 53 sitting Members of Parliament following the elections. "This will be largely due to those members winning on their own popularity and having actually delivered some form of services to their electorates. Add to this the fact they will also be heavily financed by their party (PNC)" "There will also be some PNC members who may retain their seat relying on wide scale bribery and vote rigging." You may click on the link below to read full the article. https://www.facebook.com/kramerreportpng/posts/996808673788772 So far two PNC candidates have been returned are the Members for Moresby South Open Justin Tkatchenko and Tari-Pori Open James Marape. Now I expecte
