CENTRE-PIECE OF CABINET: KRAMER & KUA

Image
by JOHN KAMA The new Marape-Davis government has created a centre-piece in the cabinet that the entire country is drawn in with so much interest in the appointment of Kerenga Kua and Bryan Kramer among the 33 cabinet ministers. The following are the uniqueness about their appointment, hence, became the centre-piece of attraction: 1. They were members of the opposition who never voted for PMJM. 2. Their appointment to ministry as opposition members was unconventional in the WestMinster System. 3. They were the two top critics of the last government whom PMJM & majority of his current cabinet members were part of. 4. They both stood for zero tolerance on corruption at all levels by both citizens and non-citizens. 5. They were both outspoken on white collar corruption and the arrest of former PM Hon. Peter O'Neill and his cronies. 6. They both understood every letter of the law and were willing to use the courts as their strongest weapon against anyone. Why PMJM appointed

TOMATO – THE NEW MASTER OF INCONSISTENCIES

by PNG BLOGS 1. Marked Boxes in Kandrian Gloucester in West New Britain were set aside and not counted for Sunday polling WHEREAS all boxes containing votes cast on Sunday for Ialibu Pangia Electorate in Southern Highlands were counted and the winner declared. 2. PRIME MINISTER JUST HAND YOURSELF IN - MORAUTA

Image
by  SIR MEKERE MORAUTA MP Prime Minister Peter O’Neill should just hand himself in to police instead of abusing the legal system any more, former Prime Minister and Member for Moresby North-West Sir Mekere Morauta said today. “Enough is enough. Judge Collin Makail’s words are crystal clear: the arrest warrant is not reviewable,” Sir Mekere said. “The request to overturn it by the Police Commissioner is ‘an abuse of process’, according to the judge. “It is time to do the right thing and the reponsible thing for the nation and for the Office of the Prime Minister. Go to the police and allow due legal process to take place. Justice will always prevail in the end.” Sir Mekere said Papua New Guineans are sick and tired of Mr O’Neill’s legal trickery and his abuse of public office and the public purse. He said it appeared that taxpayers are footing the Prime Minister’s personal legal bills, at a time when the nation is destitute. “We see from official Treasury documents that Tw

PM GETS HANDS DIRTY BY REMOVING POLICE UNIT WHO WANTED TO STOP ELECTION FRAUD

Image
PNGBLOGS CONTRIBUTORS NETWORK PETER O'NEILL personally intervened in the Election process yesterday in PANGIA after he called Police Commissioner GARY BAKI to personally remove a Mobile Police unit from Wabag. MS11 Unit from Wabag were stationed in Southern Highlands and in the Prime Minister's electorate of Ialibu Pangia for the election and were tasked in looking after ballot boxes for Pangia. Members of Wabag's MS 11 had a confrontation with one of the Prime Minister's personal bodyguards after one of the polling officials for one of the LLGs in Pangia collaborated with the Prime Minister's bodyguards to remove scrutineers who were not supporting the Prime Minister. The voters and scrutineers went on to report the matter to  MS Unit, when the MS 11 unit intervened the polling officials threatened one of the Policeman from the Engan unit by saying that they were not required because this was the PM's seat and their job was required elsewhere. LAURENCE AVIATION AND SECURITY FOUNDER PROMOTED PNG CANNIBALISM TO RAISE MONEY IN 1991

Image
by DANIEL KUMBON IN September 1991, while visiting the United States, I refused to meet Pastor Peter Halliman in Cleveland, Ohio, after a damaging article appeared in a major American newspaper. He was with Ekere Embago, an illiterate pastor from Koroba in the Southern Highlands, and they were speaking to church congregations from the east to the west coasts appealing for funds to do more missionary work in the jungles of Papua New Guinea which, they claimed, were still inhabited by missionary eating cannibal tribes. They appeared to be very successful in using the media, calling press conferences in major cities and towns to draw attention to their cause. Many years on, I wonder if Halliman was a soldier or a pastor. Or if he left missionary work to establish the Lawrence Aviation and Security Group, the employer of the six mercenaries who over the last few days have caused so much consternation in Port Moresby. According to Papua New Guinea’s police commissioner Gari Baki,

Sir Mekere asks PM to explain foreign security personnel

Image
SIR MEKERE MORAUTA Former Prime Minister Sir Mekere Morauta expressed his concern today at social media pictures of heavily armed foreign mercenaries patrolling the streets of Port Moresby. He said it was clear that the public was very concerned about these men. “No-one knows who they are and what they are doing here,” he said. “The absence of any explanation from the Government is only serving to heighten concerns about these foreigners and why they are openly carrying high-powered weapons in public. “There are suggestions that these men are US Armed Forces personnel, and that they are here on APEC security business. Sir Mekere said he been advised that these men are not US SEALs – there are two SEALs on official business in Port Moresby, and they are certainly not driving around town in police vehicles. Nor are they taking part in road blocks and questioning people, he said. Nor are they in the country on APEC security business - the head of the APEC Secretariat, Mr Chris Hawkins

PRIVATE SECURITY AGENCY TO RUN RPNGC OPERATIONS?

Image
PNG BLOGS First hand sources have confirmed to PNG Blogs that the sighting of armed expatriate men in Port Moresby are not official US representatives and furthermore the United States Embassy disavows any knowledge of them. They do not have anything to do with the security preparations for the APEC Summit scheduled for next year. PNGBLOGS reported on the makeup of this private security operations last year: Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, his personal adviser Dr Jakob Weiss, Chief Secretary Isaac Lupari and Police Commissioner Gari Baki are involved in a secret plot with LR Group of Israel to create a private intelligence agency and secret paramilitary spy force in Papua Guinea. The four have already handed over some of the nation’s most secret intelligence information to LR Group, which is headed in Papua New Guinea by Weiss’s son Ilan. This includes top-secret internal National Intelligence Organization documents and the methodology whereby all PNG security intelligence oper

GAY RIGHTS GET A MIGHTY BOOST IN PNG WITH JUSTIN TKATCHENKO'S 'DECLINE TO DECLARE SLANDEROUS AND LIBELOUS'

by JAMES PERA KINAP THE STATEMENT THAT HE IS A "FAMOUS HOMOSEXUAL MP". When the PNG Blogs posting came out on 19th December seemingly connecting Tkatchenko with a Malaysian woman who had overstayed her visa, it included what potentially could have been a much much more slanderous, libelous and defamatory implication - that Justin Tkatchenko was also being referred to on the posting as a "famous homosexual MP". If there was anything on that PNG Blogs posting that could damage an MPs reputation in the kind of cultural environment that operates in PNG, it would be the declaration that he or she was a homosexual. If there was one false allegation on the PNG Blogs posting that would infuriate Justin Tkatchenko, it would be a false declaration that he was a "famous homosexual MP". There would be no possibility of overlooking that statement by Tkatchenko. There are few countries in the world today where anti-gay sentiments are higher than in PNG, althou

ALL INSTITUTIONS OF STATE COLLUDE IN INSTITUTIONALISATION OF CORRUPTION. by LEKEM LAKI Intriguingly it is becoming very scary with the psychopath and pathological liar Peter O’Neil at the helm as Prime Minister remotely in control of the country. A lot has come undone by this ruthless regime whilst he and cronies make a good killing. He has cleverly strategized to make all institutions of state become powerless or virtually being paralysed evident by prolonging of milestone court cases against PO and those of his close associates and others getting suspended sentence. Every institutions of state are manipulated or intimidated in a way to remain mute or collude to leverage Peter O’Neil and his political cronies to hugely prosper at the expense of the naïve people of PNG. My heart is pained to envisage people power is not rising to the occasion. The civil society appears paranoid and pessimistic but for what and why? Students alone can’t fight the monster. The students hav

by KEALI POKA Papua New Guineans are genuinely informed that contempt charges regarding non-compliance of the National and Supreme Court Orders were served on Police Commissioner Gari Baki and he refused to accept it.  However, Mathew Damaru had it successfully served on Mr. Baki's lawyer. Baki's other rogue officers in the likes of David Manning, Samson Kua and Jim Andrews have had their Court Orders served already on them. These rogue police officers will have their field day at the courts and justice will decide where they stand and what they should do and should not do. Meanwhile both Mr. Raphael Huafolo (the buffalo) and Mr. Victor Isove are on the run hiding away from Fraud Squad Officers of being served their contempt charges. Both of these rogue police officers will be served their contempt charges when they are found. Any Papua New Guinean who sights them must report them at the nearest police station or go on social media and post their whereabouts so Fraud Offi

PNGBlogs Exclusive: Private Security Intelligence Agency created by Peter O'Neill and LR Group to ensure O'Neill remains in power after 2017

Image
by MICHAEL JOSEPH PASSINGAN Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, his personal adviser Dr Jakob Weiss, Chief Secretary Isaac Lupari and Police Commissioner Gari Baki are involved in a secret plot with LR Group of Israel to create a private intelligence agency and secret paramilitary spy force in Papua Guinea. The four have already handed over some of the nation’s most secret intelligence information to LR Group, which is headed in Papua New Guinea by Weiss’s son Ilan. This includes top-secret internal National Intelligence Organization documents and the methodology whereby all PNG security intelligence operations cooperate and coordinate activities and information. These organisations include NIO, the Defence Force, the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary, Customs, and National Fisheries. The infiltration of the NIO by LR Group means that all of PNG’s security intelligence networks have been compromised. Oversight and control of the network is now in the hands of LR

PETER O’NEIL AND GARI BAKI COMBINED TO WRITE A NEW CHAPTER IN THE BRIEF POLITICAL HISTORY OF PNG.

Image
by LEKEM LAKI Papua New Guinea gained independence from the neo-colonial Australian administration in September 16, 1975. Since then, we have had seven Prime Ministers in the likes of Sir Michael Somare, Sir Julius Chan, Sir Rabbi Namaliu, Paias Wingti, Late Bill Skate, Sir Mekere Morauta and the controversial incumbent Peter O’Neil. Under the leadership of previous Prime Ministers, country enjoyed tranquility with transition of changeover of leadership (PM) through political manoeuvre but peacefully and done and dusted in the spirit of the constitution. Never had one time experienced a political coup except the incumbent wrestled and forcefully taken over a legitimate government that of Michael Somare. It is telling the tenacity of the aggression to grip on to power by becoming untouchable by laws of the land. He has written a new chapter in the brief political history of PNG and is typical of a thief and remember this, a thief comes to steal, destroy and kill. Never had one

O’NEILL AND BAKI’S SECRET CONSPIRACY LEAKED

Image
by MICHAEL JOSEPH PASSINGAN The recent and continuing actions by Police Commissioner Gari Baki have got deeper intentions than what appears to the public. Gari Baki is part of, and executing a conspiracy to completely set Peter O’Neill free from all corruption charges relating to the Paul Paraka Lawyers payments, LR Group-PNG Power Generators Deal, K3 Billion UBS Oil Search Deal etc and many other complaints of frauds that is currently investigated by the National Fraud And Anti-Corruption Directorate. If you have been watching closely, Peter O’Neill is running out of defences. He knows that you don’t have to benefit financially from the fraud to be guilty of the crime (Paul Tiensten being the example). He latest lowest point was when he said words “mi paulim meri blong ol na ol laik karabusim mi oh”, a reflection of a primitive mentality of Wiru Pangia. Peter O’Neill’s popularity is evaporating very fast. Prominent citizens including the two former Prime Ministers, Sir Mekere

O'NEILL'S GOONS NOW THREATENING MEDIA PERSONNEL

Image
RPNGC INSIDER Some new information from three journos on Jacob Ivaroa, the personal pig-dog of Jimmy Maladina and Peter O’Neill. Two have confirmed that Ivaroa, now deputy director of the Fraud Squad, was responsible for the threat to a senior journalist last week, as revealed by a senior EMTV journo. Now a third journo has come forward to PNGBlogs to say that they were also a victim of a threat from Ivaroa last week. Ivaroa is one of the puppet policemen appointed by Commissioner Gary Baki to stop the investigations being carried out by the Fraud Squad and destroy evidence that incriminates the Prime Minister and his cronies. The journo also revealed to PNGBlogs that Manning was one of the police puppets used by O’Neill to try to arrest Chief Justice Salamo Injia, and was probably part of Baki’s plot to get rid of Port Moresby Met Supt Andy Bawa. Baki is also personally corrupt, when he stole funds to be used for LNG operations, and deceived the Somare NEC about its LNG

“NOT ALL OF US ARE AS BLIND AS BAKI”

by JOHN STEWARD In a remarkable turn of events, and right under the watchful eyes of all thinking Papua New Guineans, the Police Commissioner eliminates almost all potential risks at the National Fraud and Anti-Corruption Directorate, by suspending the Director Matthew Damaru, his Deputy Timothy Gitua, another senior office Joel Simitab and other officers who may have been seen solidly supporting their bosses to pursue the arrest of Prime Minister O’Neill in relation to Paul Paraka Lawyers fraudulent payments. Commissioner Baki, in a lengthy media statement attempts to justify his “weekend” actions but not many will be convinced in light of the chain of events leading up to Baki’s decisions. I have gone through the various events leading up to the actions of Baki and here is what I have compiled. (All these events are publicly reported in various media forums if you have been following), On the 5th of April 2016, the Supreme Court unanimously dismissed James Marape’s appeal to the S

Proliferation of Corruption Unhindered has Raised its Ugly Head in the Courtroom Resulting in Impaired Judgments and Normalization of Corruption by Venerate Judges

by LEKEM LAKI The Deputy Chief Justice his Honour Gibs Salika rightly said in the national paper dated 14th March 2016 titled “Graft a disease” and he referred to the level of corruption rampant in the country cutting across every sector of PNG society. In that he meant to say, corruption isn’t “growing but is overgrown”. The concern raised is alarming in nature but it doesn’t become a cause of concern or raises goose bumps. The corruption is entrenched and deeply embedded in every stratum of government bureaucracy and agencies. The practice is normalised and given the longevity in continued practice, it has become a norm or second nature if you like to people who practice. With the proliferation of corruption, people aren’t remorseful or let alone raise goose bumps. The Department of Justice and Attorney General Secretary Dr. Lawrence Kalinoe refused Damarua’s request to engage private law firm. Damarua and the entire Fraud Squad team aren’t fighting tooth an
