MINISTER SELLS BRISBANE PROPERTY FOR K6 MILLION

Image
by  MICHAEL PASSINGAN Justin Tkatchenko Minister for Housing and Member for Port Moresby South is listing his 2nd Brisbane property for a cool $2.8 Million dollars. This is one of many properties own by Justin Tkatchenko and his PNG wife. He also owned 15 Upper Brookfield Road property also in Brisbane which is a 8.5 acre property in Brisbane which he sold last year for $1.6 Million. In 2010 Justin Tkatchenko received over K3 million in payments from the National Capital District through his landscaping companies Kitoro No.33 and PNG Gardner. It is claimed these payments, were authorised by NCDC Governor Powes Parkop in breach of the Public Finance Management Act, the NCDC Act and the Organic Law on the Leadership Code. The payments, which were made for work on the NCDC Mini Park, Water Fountain, Waterslide and Zoo and Animal Farm, were made with no quotations provided and no public tendering process – breaching the fundamental principles of value for money, transparency, effective com

Lisa Vernon left Yumi Yet Limited after finding out about Fazilah Bazahri's corrupt intentions.

Lisa Vernon was a founder member of Yu Yet, a company set up with the intention to encourage and support grass roots approaches to well-being and literacy in PNG. Lisa is a highly qualified management consultant and set up YuYet in order to offer management consultancy services.     Lisa invested considerable sums of her own money in the organisation, setting up a successful literacy training network WanpelaSkulimWanpela and offering training to literacy tutors and schools.   She would like to make it clear that during this time she received only 1,000 kina for expenses from Caritas plus 15,000 kina from NCDC for the Walk for Life programme. A considerable part of this funding was spent on supporting, transporting and feeding the young people involved in the yoga programme. These funds also contributed to her secure accommodation for one month. For the reminder of her time working on Walk for Life and WanpelaSkulimWanpela, she was accommodated by friends and funded by herself. I

2017 BUDGET BLOW-OUT

Image
PRESS RELEASE by  Rt. Hon SIR MEKERE MORAUTA MP Former Prime Minister and Member for Moresby North-West Sir Mekere Morauta said today that at last some members of the PNC Government have admitted that the Papua New Guinea economy is in difficulty.  Sir Mekere referred to the media statement by Deputy Prime Minister and Caretaker Treasurer Charles Abel, who said that the focus of the government in its first 100 Days would be on “economic recovery”. Sir Mekere noted that this was an interesting admission and use of words by Mr Abel, because the Prime Minister has consistently refused to recognise that the economy is in recession, and has mismanaged public finances in such a way that has allowed the recession to intensify. “My advice to Mr Abel is that before he launches into any “recovery” measures, he needs to repair the budget and reform his Prime Minister and curb his extravagant and uncontrolled spending and borrowing,” Sir Mekere said. “The non-mining sector, on which the

PNGBLOGS EVERYONE WHO HAS VOTED FOR A CANDIDATE IN THE NCD REGIONAL SEAT MUST SEE THIS - PLEASE SHARE On Monday 17/July, in the Rita Flynn Court Counting Room, sometime between 6pm to 7pm, a box from Laloki (by Team 150) was opened and its content poured at one of the station for counting under the watchful eyes of all Scrutineers and international observers from the Commonwealth. The attached photos are proof that Powes Pakop has a criminal network of loyal supporters (some of whom are NCDC staff, PNGEC employees, polling officials and public servants) who will do whatever it takes to send Pakop back into our country's National Parliament at whatever cost. ALL PRE-MARKED UNFOLDED 500 x BALLOT PAPERS SEEN ON THE TABLE WRAPPED AROUND IN RUBBER BANS WERE MARKED FOR POWES PAKOP WITH THE SAME HAND WRITING. 5 Ballot Books were also found in the box. It appears someone was in a hurry and left behind vital evidence in this one particular box from Laloki. By the grace of God, the tr

IT'S JUST BUSINESS FOR POWES AND BUBU SUSAN

Powes Parkop went to Sydney on On Friday 12th May 2017 and returned late afternoon Sunday 14th May 2017, while in Sydney he met with Susan Merrell to plan on the upcoming elections. Merrell is by now a well known surrogate who has made a living crafting skills in doing hit pieces on opposition parties she is paid to destroy. Within the walls of  NCD Governor's office and the City Hall staff offices there is now a growing air of suspicion that there is an ongoing love affair between Susan Merrell and Governor Powes Parkop. Whether this is true or false it is only shared by a few privileged ones including a source very close to Governor Parkop. So far as our source can recall, Susan Merrell started visiting the Governor's Office early this year. She was given a lot of time and space to be with the Governor and was given a fully armed body guard to be with her on call 24 hours while she stay up at the Stanley Hotel suites. Our source recalled several times seeing Mr Parkop

POWES PARKOP - FROM ANTI CORRUPTION CHAMPION TO YOGA MASTER

Image
by JOHN ENDEMONGO KUA What is your opinion on this man who had the audacity to tell the residents , of the city of Port Moresby that he had a million ideas , to improve the city, the nation and perhaps the whole world of his ingenious ways. Lo and behold - even the heavens would open up to receive such a saintly character as as it is proclaimed, that the streets of heaven are only paved in only one colour, which off course is gold. Well, after ten ( 10 ) solid year's in office as a lawmaker , he had become a turn coat from a human rights lawyer and anti- corruption campaigner to being an accomplished Yoga Master, neglecting, deflecting or abandoning his primary duties as a parliamentarian. After distancing himself from Melanesian Solidarity ( MELSOL) a non government organization which he founded to fight social and economic injustice, he had opted to join the pin stripe club of the bourgeois, with his new found power to control the supply of money and jobs. He craft

CHRISTMAS IS COMING TO MORESBY. A SICK FRAUD PERPETRATED BY MORESBY LEADERS

Image
by Ephraim Curtis Different people have different perspectives. I have watched as some of my friends have applauded the new highrise apartments popping up in Moresby even though the rents they charge is out of reach of most Moresby residents. They have also gazed with approval when the new roads and Kumul flyover were built though they will certainly never own a car, they make to little money. These same people approve of the changes to the city only because they think someday the change will reach them. As for now they have no money to pay admission to the various festivities that the NCDC has put on. They have been to Vision City now and again just to look because they have no money to buy. They dream in the hopes there will be change in their life. The dreams become more important as they look around them and see that they are being left further behind each day. I do not live in a settlement, instead in a government house. I am a lucky one although th

FROM WALK FOR LIFE TO YOGA AND RIGHT INTO THE HEART OF A GOVERNOR!

by KOIKOI LASI One time Human Rights Lawyer cum Politician and NCD Governor Powes Parkop is the latest politician to fall prey to a seemingly increasing tide of targeted sexual attacks on PNG politicians, CEOs and heads of government by foreign interests using the lure of sex and corrupt money. Word on the street is that Powes Parkop is now estranged from his wife of many years Jean Parkop and is now involved with a number of women in extra marital affairs, including his Yoga Instructor Fazila Bazari. Fazila Bazari is one of those increasing numbers of foreign women who have been targeting PNG politicians with sex in exchange for favors, including money and lucrative contracts for themselves or the foreign interests they represent. This latest trend which has been in existence for sometime but has been exposed in recent times is a real danger and threat to PNG's national security as leaders compromise national interests in exchange for personal sexual and monetary favors. The pe

JUSTIN TKATCHENKO'S 1ST PROPERTY PURCHASED IN 2011 - WORTH AUS $1.1 MILLION, PAID BY NCDC CASH!

Image
by  MICHAEL J.PASSINGAN  Sources within an Australian Real Estate firm have been exposing prominent Papua New Guinean MPs and Public Servants  to PNGBLOGS who have purchased properties in Australia via dubious means. The latest is Sports, Special Events and APEC Minister, Justin TKATCHENKO. P NGBlogs recently exposed the recent purchase of a property by MINISTER TKATCHENKO and his family at BROOKFIELD outside BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA. MINISTER TKATCHENKO lied through his teeth in Parliament when he said he gave up controls to his parent company KITORO NO 33 . Truth is he is still solely involved with the company operations with his wife. Papua New Guineans have been duped again by JUSTIN TKATCHENKO with a purchase he made prior to entering Parliament when  he was the sole owner of Kitoro No 33. In 2010 it was alleged Tkatchenko received over K3 million in payments from the National Capital District through his landscaping companies Kitoro No.33 and PNG Gardner. It is claimed th

CHANGING PORT MORESBY CITY LANDSCAPE WITH INFRASTRUCTURE

Image
CHANGING PORT MORESBY CITY LANDSCAPE WITH INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT, COMPLACENCY IN COMPLIANCE AND STANDARD COMPROMISED. INCOMPLETE STADIUMS: by LEKEM LAKI The metropolitan city of Port Moresby is booming in construction in all form and shape. Contrasting with rest of the country, the scale of construction happening in Port Moresby is unprecedented. The economic values of all gigantic infrastructure developments are in alarming proportion. If not doubled, it is tripled the factual cost of putting up the projects. Should independent expertise is engaged to study and do variation on the costing; surely extravagance unscrupulous spending would be revealed. Particularly sporting venues, in haste, trying to meet the deadline and delivered incomplete jobs and remain as such. Sir Hubert Murry stadium is progressing at snail’s pace. The sport’s Minister exaggerated and today date, he over exaggerate claiming, under his ministry, he has delivered world class stadiums

Restructuring, realignment or Re-positioning? A Practical Exercise in Intelligence Collation and Assessment

Image
by PAUL AMATIO The recent reshuffle of the senior police hierarchy and command should not really surprise many. It was mooted earlier by Mr. Baki and has finally been effected. That includes the restructuring of the command structure. I guess that given the expansion in the population of the nation, such a restructuring is timely and beneficial to the constabulary. There only remains the task of finding enough men to fully outfit the various commands – not to mention the infrastructure and logistics required to maintain them and sustain them. But that is a political problem. Will the government give enough funding to ensure that this initiative by the Commissioner indeed fulfils its intention? With the 2017 General Elections around the corner, this structure also makes it much easier in terms of coordination, command and control. The movement of senior officers is also a good move, one would think. Many of those who have been in PHQ need to be moved out so they can effectively imple
