Gordon Wesley has been in Papua New Guinea politics for a lifetime, in the time he has been in Parliament, he has been an unknown MP, only keeping to himself, making himself known to those in power as a number to keep the government going. He has never come out in the media to engage on national issues. He has remained in Parliament as part the government back-bench boondoggle. His private life is now under the spotlight as attention is being paid to the Deputy Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea of sexually molesting and using his late sister's daughters to please himself. Mr. Wesley's sexual escapade is known in his own community but fear of reprieve and general harassment and intimidation has lead the story to go away from the public eye.
