BOARD CHAIRMAN OF TELIKOM PNG LTD MAHESH PATEL IS A FRAUDSTER

Image
Outlined below are some of the most serious allegations that warrant the immediate termination of Mahesh Patel and appointment of a new Board chairman to take charge of the SOE. We will provide evidence once an internal investigation is set up. SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS AGAINST MAHESH PATEL.(Evidence Available) 1.    2012- VES (voluntary exit scheme). Mahesh Patel, being chairman of HR Sub- Committee went ahead and implemented the VES under the pretext of Government Reforms. The exercise was poorly planned and executed, which resulted in the termination of employment of approximately 500 qualified technical staff, engineers and support staff from their employment. As a result a skills gap was created, Telikom never recovered and recorded consecutive loss in revenue and never declared profit and paid dividends to the state up till 2017. The affected staff under VES in 2012 took Telikom PNG to court seeking damages to be awarded to them. In 2017, a three men Supreme Court Bench upheld the N

WARNING! MAHESH PATEL AT THE CENTRE OF TELIKOM 4G GSM MOBILE PRICE FIXING SCANDAL

by PNG CWU Who says Mahesh Patel will settle down? This Fijian/Indian who claims to be the best Chairman in the South Pacific is still spinning his wheel of fortune in the daily operations of Telikom PNG. His Motive? To grossly devalue Telikom PNG and make it underperform in the face of competition, take this as a genuine case to NEC and recommend for TPNG to be made insolvent. Then, float the company in open market, and who buys it? Mahesh Patel and his cohorts who are closely associated with Peter O’Neil. They will then shift the gateway from PNG to Fiji, and there goes PNG! Lately, here is how he planned to do that: On the 18 th of April, the Telikom Management was under pressure from Mahesh Patel to do a submission for a Board Meeting to be held the very next day to approve a price fixture for Telikom 4G mobile in favour of Bemobile and Digicel. The Management submission contained recommendations for Telikom Board to approve a cut-off price for Telikom 4G Voice and Inte

HAVE WE BEEN FED A LIE ABOUT VODAFONE AND BEMOBILE PARTNERSHIP?

Image
by : Market Observer Recent scandal in Fiji regarding tens of Millions of 'Corporate Signage kickbacks ' contracts for  Vodafone Fiji has prompt me to asked if Bemobile has actually benefited with its 'market agreement ' with Vodafone. Since the Agreement was signed in July 2014, we have not seen any increased in quality services from Bemobile but rather fruitless attempts in branding. What also have seen is more visibility of Vodafone Branding then of Bemobile. We tend to wonder if the 'Marketing Agreement' is a Vodafone branding takeover and Bemobile being just another used vehicle by the corporate heavies who walks away with huge kickbacks and commissions for brokering this deal. It's all coming out in Fiiji, maybe ICCC might want to check on Bemobile also --- Vodafone and Bemobile announced Market Partnership agreement in PNG 10 July 2014 Vodafone Group Plc (“Vodafone”) and Bemobile Limited (trading as “bmobile”) today

Conflict of Interest in the Merger - ICCC Boss and Mahesh Patel

Image
by PNGBLOGS STAFF WRITERS   It seems ICCC is in bed with Telikom’s Chairman Mahesh Patel on the so called merger of Telikom, Bmobile and DataCo issue. A number of key points for the public to note here: Telikom Board’s term of office has expired. As such, Telikom effectively has no Board to act on its behalf at the moment until a new Board is sworn in. How can Mahesh Patel claim to be speaking on behalf of the Board when insider information has it that there has never been a Board Meeting convened for this purpose? He therefore is acting alone, and for whose interest? Clearly, if you link the dots together, it would be in the interest of the team: The Prime Minister Peter O’Neill , Mahesh Patel himself, John Mangos and Michael Donnelly , the ousted CEO of Telikom PNG. This article has it that Mahesh, the Chairman of Telikom PNG went into discussions with ICCC boss, Mr. Paulus Ain. How can he, Mahesh, discuss the merger while acting as the Chairman of another

UNDECLARED DIVIDENDS OF K20 MILLION PAID TO KUMUL CONSOLIDATED HOLDINGS LTD AND SALE OF TELIKOM ASSETS; LANDS AND BUILDINGS The current interim Chairman of TPNG Mr Mahesh Patel’s National News Paper publication dated 6th February 2017 page 25, saying that Telikom PNG paid a K20m dividend to Kumul Consolidated Holdings Ltd is yet another lie from Mahesh Patel to justify his existence in Telikom PNG. According to Telikom PNG Monthly Management Accounts as at June 2016, Telikom PNG actually made a loss of K3.7m earnings before tax. Therefore, this K20m is an undeclared dividend payment. This ‘money was drawn from either; the cash savings from Telikom staff prematurely retrenched through the illegal Spill and Fill exercise carried out in 2015 or from unused capital works/project funds. The withdrawal of funds was most probably charged to the Government Capital Grants Accounts or the Owner’s Equity Account. If it was a dividend declared profit, then Chairman should have properly de

by JACKSON PUNDU Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH) has become a safe haven for thieves and robbers, both Papua New Guineans and foreigners. Unfortunately some leaders are allowing this to happen and are nurturing it, to be blunt. They know millions of Kina floats around KCH and they want to get in there and have a slice of it. This is squandering what is rightfully our people's money and assets. If you have noticed, there have been countless restructures in the recent past, all in the name of better alignment and efficiency but these are hog-washed tactics to cover up hidden selfish motives. KCH's recent changes to include Kumul Communications with its expanded vertical structure is nothing more than an attempt to wrestle the state telecommunication entities ( Telikom, Bmobile and DataCo ) out of the hands of the Government into private hands. This is the big picture at play, directly under the watchful eye of the Prime Minister Peter O'Neill. They
