Terry Bunpai The Political Horse Trading leading up to the PNG Governor General race has begun, the interest has spun a wide range of candidates and just as you can imagine, it has a lot of hype and aurora. We are observing closely on the issues surrounding the elections, we think this is a major event leading up to the General Elections in 2012. Governor Generals in the Commonwealth are the Heads of State, back in the years leading up to Independence from Australia, we took the stand to be part of the British Monarchy, while we do not have a history of segregation like that of India and other states, we had it coming very easily for us. When you try to compare how our country came out of the shadow in the periods when the United Nations was giving out a time-line for countries with territories like that of Australia, France, USA, and Britain to give Independence to states under their protectorate, we would assume we were lucky. Who is Brian Kimmins?

He Claims to be from PNG, but our investigations find otherwise.... He could be a expat! , does it give him the right to control money, or is he being controlled by a third party? Mr. Kimmins was a no good water driller in Lae before in become land transport board chairman. He was running his sister's drilling company in Lae for many years then migrated his family to Brisbane, Australia. As the Land Transport Board Chairman, he absolutely did nothing for the agency. Through political cronisim, he was elated to the post of CSTB. Over the last years, he had been able to live a high lifestyle from driving a beat-up toyota double cab hilux in Lae to some of the high range motor vehicles like a top of the range Nissan Patrol fully kitted. He has also accumulated travel mileage without any real benefit to the CSTB. He has been able to frequently moved his children from Brisbane to Port Moresby at will. He has accumulated a boat that is now moored at RYPC and live his high qual

Finance Secretary Gabriel Yer, Former Attorney General Francis Damem, and Former Soliciter General Zacchary Gelu stole K1.6 million

Brukim Bus F inance Secretary Gabriel Yer conspired with Francis Damem, Paul Paraka and Zacchary Gelu to steal K1.6 million from the people of PNG as part of the Paraka Scams.  READ IT HERE!   Gabriel Yer, through his lawyer Paul Paraka, submitted a false claim for damages against the State, using the name of his then 9-year-old son, Umba Y Gabriel, to cover his tracks. The Commission of Inquiry found the claim had all the hallmarks of a scam claim created and facilitated by a triad of people in- the highest offices of the PNG bureaucracy. It was initiated by a serving Deputy secretary for Finance (current Secretary, Mr. Gabriel Yer) as principal plaintiff… The claim was settled in record time by a willing Solicitor General (Mr. Zachary Gelu) and an even more obliging Secretary for Justice Department (Mr. Francis Damem). Yama, Gelu, Devete and Kandi, State Lawyers and rogue Businessman/ex Politician Steal K15 Million from National Treasury.

Controversial businessman and former politician, Peter Yama, conspired with then Solicitor General, Zacchary Gelu, to steal K15.5 million from the people of PNG, according to the report of the Department of Finance Commission of Inquiry. Both Yama and Gelu, together with State lawyers, Neville Devete and Lais Kandi have been recommended for prosecution by the police for their roles in the scam which involved an unlawful claim against the State which the lawyers failed to defend. Peter Yama’s claim was based on his contention that for 9 years from 1990 he was prevented access to a piece of State land that he had leased for 99 years in 1988. Yama filed his claim through Poro lawyers in August 2002, demanding K38 million in damages.
