By DANIEL PERAKIN Whether his motive is greed or payback, Ralph Saulep continues to  throw more money down the drain, this time with an advertisement in  Yesterday's National newspaper.    We notice that the article on  Unitech in the National promotes the current peace and harmony of the  campus and students back in class.  It is long overdue, but The National is finally beginning to wake up to the fact that they were on  the wrong side starting from Day 1 when they would publish anything  Saulep wanted them to. In yesterday's advert, Saulep calls for a "Special Council Meeting" to  be held in Port Moresby on  10 April  at the Hideaway Hotel at 6 mile,  Port Moresby (Saulep is fully aware that you can do corrupt deals  easier when you have your meetings as far away as possible from the  principal stakeholders). By Unitech Researcher 2006 In November 2006, members of the National Academic Staff Association (NASA) at Unitech went on strike after members voted unanimously to do so through a secret ballot conducted by the Electoral Commission. Among other issues, NASA wanted the Unitech council of Phil Stagg and Ralph Saulep to sideline the senior management team of VC Misty Baloiloi and Registrar Allan Sako and appoint a caretaker administration so that investigations can be conducted into the mismanagement of the affairs at the university and the misappropriation of university’s resources (P. Sacked Treasurer and Kandep MP Don Polye will be asking the court to declare the K3 billion loan as unconstitutional and seek orders for his reinstatement as Treasurer. In a press conference yesterday, Mr Polye, flanked by his lawyer John Napu, said he is going to the courts to seek justice because the whole loan smells “fishy” and was very suspicious. “I have filed the matter in court, seeking the honourable courts to declare this bad loan unconstitutional and illegal,” Mr Polye said. “I am seeking also to have the fund recouped back to the State and have all arrangements for the loan to be cancelled so that the State is relieved of its liabilities to fix power, social services and outstanding infrastructure problems facing the people.’’ He alleged that the deal is getting more suspicious and complicated by two important dynamics. “Firstly, the French-owned company, Total SA, acquired a 40.1 percent share of the Elk/Antelope LNG project at US$401 million as against Oil Search’s a

By Government Analyst Why has Ralph Saulep continued to make a fool of himself in the  newspaper, trying to get new court orders to block progress at  Unitech, and otherwise create a nuisance?  None of this seems to be  doing his reputation any good, so what's the point?  That wouldn't be a question if your name was Paul Paraka, Ben Micah,  even Don Polye, James Marape, Patrick Pruaitch, or any other member of  the whole army of thieves we have in power, inside and outside of  Waigani.  They ALL know what Saulep is up to, no mystery about this at  all. It's all about money. The honesty and ethics metre inside Ralph Saulep's brain registers a flat zero while corruption and greed index is off scale.   Ralph cares nothing about Unitech (he never did) and nothing about what the students do or don't feel about him.  It's all about money. Saulep saw that Paraka got over K70 million from the government for doing very little legal work and the payment was almost certain
