Inactions and dissatisfactions whose to blame?

PNGBLOGS

Leo Dion is a Policeman. He is no ordinary Policemen. He was trained and taught by some of the best and he was one of the best of this country at a time when the Police Force was a proper Police Force ( not to take anything away from our current constabulary but you know what I mean?).

Well when that big Tolai nose of his smells something is not quite right, something is rotten, he is more likely right than wrong. On this ocassion he is 200 percent correct. However what he is correct about is sad. Sad because he has to now confront fellow Members of Parliament and hold them accountable, especially those from New Britian.

We know the K125 Million deal was done not for the best interests of this country. The Management of Nasfund knew it was not a genuine investment. Yet they did it becasue some of them picked up something from the broking firms etc. The broking firm paid the commissions out in Australia.

A certain ex Pollie from Madang was instrumental in the whole deal, and certain runners were used to pay certain pollies off. We know who they are, and we know they are in touch with Rod Mitchell now, trying to manage the situation.

The Nasfund Management and Board should simply resign. The Bank of PNG should do its job and discharge its statutory responsibility under the Superannuation Act 2000 and take charge of this situation and save the Membership of Nasfund rather than make weak and glib recommendations as it did recently.

The Bank of PNG must grow some balls and realize its statutory responsibility now, or else it will become responsible for the losses and any further losses in Nasfund. Nasfund must act immediately to save the Fund and restore credibility to the Fund. There is no time to dilly dally. Where Board members and Management need to be charged under various laws, that needs to be done, and done immediately.

We are all very dissappointed in Rod Mitchell and the Board. But that was yesterday. Today the show must move on. The Fraud squad needs to move in and investigate any fraud and the Central Bank must move in to investigate breaches of guidelines and superannuation laws and investment rules of probity.

The Bank of PNG must realize that the community is sick and tired of inaction by it, or lacklustre discharge of their statutory responsibilities. If it doesnt move to protect the Members interests then we will assume that even the Bank of PNg has become political. May God help us then!

Rod is holding on to worthless bits of paper called SCITB, waving them in the air trying to distract everyone. He has been entering the blogsites as Guest or other names to cover himself. Really he is waving worthless bits of paper around.

Their only value is as exhibits in a criminal fraud trial at the National Court in Waigani. As in a love story, all he has is broken dreams and broken promises while the lover is long gone into the night air. No amount of crying and wailing will bring him back.

The cash is all gone. No one will repay Nasfund. So why all the media posturing?
Ya Madi!
