Prime Minister O’Neill Runs Away From Unitech

By alt-UNITECH Reporter

Things are getting hot hot hot at Unitech in Lae.

The breaking word from the Ministry for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology is that Prime Minister Peter O’Neill is so fearful of
an embarrassing confrontation with students at Unitech that he’s broken his pledge to give the commencement address at all of PNG’s major universities.

Yes, he gave the commencement address at Divine Word University but is now going to run away from Unitech

Apparently the Prime Minister is worried that angry students will disrupt his commencement speech.

Maybe he’s worried of meeting Chancellor Stagg’s fate and being forced to make a quick unexpected exit from the university.

It’s obvious that Peter O’Neill is helping Philip Stagg get rid of Vice Chancellor Albert Schram for good.    The Prime Minister worries that the full horror and extent of mismanagement under the Misty Baloiloi regime will be uncovered if he lets the Vice Chancellor come back.  The Prime Minister does not want any corruption stories coming out of Unitech that might implicate his friends.

The Prime Minister proves himself to be PNG’s first Grand Hypocrite. Consider his words that appeared in today’s Post Courier:

“Our history is littered with all missed opportunities.  That’s not something to be proud of.  In many cases, we have been promoting inefficiencies…”

Yet, Peter O’Neill has decided to get rid of a Vice Chancellor who by all accounts achieved quite a bit of good during less than his first year.   Looks like our newly designated Grand Hypocrite is preparing to throw the Vice Chancellor on top of the growing pile of PNG’s missed opportunities!

Filling in for the cowardly Prime Minister at Unitech this Friday will be Acting Minister for HERST Don Polye.

By the way, Don Polye’s son attends Unitech.

By the way, Don Polye’s son, it is now confirmed, is very tight with
Unitech SRC President Livingstone Hosea.

By the way, Livingstone Hosea is looking for a pathway to contesting a
seat in Enga Province in 2017 with the help and money of Don Polye.

By the way, Don Polye is a powerful Engan leader with access to plenty
money when it comes election time.

By the way, becoming an MP is a 5 year lotto ticket to lifetime
prosperity and perhaps even a house in Brisbane or Cairns.

You get the picture?

The big question is what side is Polye and Hosea on:   CORRUPTION AND MISMANAGEMENT (Peter O’Neill and Philip Stagg), or HONESTY AND PROGRESS (the Vice Chancellor and his hard working honest national associates at Unitech)?

Polye’s words won’t reveal the truth, only his actions and the only action that speaks in this issue is when the Vice Chancellor will be back at Unitech.

Whose more powerful, Polye or O’Neill?

Whose less dishonest, Polye or O’Neill?

If you know any students or relatives who will be at the graduation, get them to record Polye’s speech so you can analyse it yourself later:   truth or fraud?

Will commencement speaker Polye ignore the big issue on Friday or will he confront it directly and speak the sad and ugly truth of the matter to the students?

Stay tuned for the latest in Unitech Saga 2013
