How can a corrupt person fight corruption?

From EMTV News

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill has announced the launching of an investigation against Chairman of Investigation Task Force Sweep, Sam Koim.

In a statement released this afternoon, Prime Minister Peter O’Neill justified statements he had made last week, regarding the ITFS, being ‘compromised’.

He said the government will be asking the Police Commissioner to conduct a major investigation into Mr Koim’s conduct, and his alleged meetings with deputy opposition leader, Sam Basil.

Mr O’Neill said the government had evidence which pointed to Mr Koim meeting with key political figures, including Mr Basil, in private since 2011.

When contacted for comment, Mr Koim described the PM’s comments as ‘very serious and defamatory’, and Mr O’Neill must have the evidence to back up his claims.

When asked to confirm or deny the allegations of impropriety, he said this was a decoy to divert public attention, and asked the question: “How cans a corrupted person, fight corruption?”
