Examining the impressive circus of morons who make up our parliament, we the people have started to debate who is likely to become Grand Thief III and further institutionalise our monarchy of corruption.
Everyone has their favorite to promote. As more people talk, you’ll once again start smelling the kabubu gas that characterizes politics in PNG.
The gluttonous overweight appearance of the majority of our MPs are not a reflection of long hours sitting at the desk working, but is evidence of personalities that have little self control, neither in the regulation of food intake nor money intake. Such personalities take everything offered to them and cry for more. They all have the starting ingredients of what it takes to make a crafty thief.
Struggling with their ballooning waistlines, our MPs show that PNG is indeed the land of opportunity to become filthy rich very quickly. The MPs see it, the Chinese see it, all kinds of carpetbagger losers from around the world flocking to PNG also see it. They’re clear while the common men and women in this country have their eyes focused on counting precious toea and wondering how they’re going to pay their bills.
That there are so many aspiring and wannabe businessmen who populate our parliament is not evidence of humble representatives wanting to serve the people. It is proof that the pighouse is filled with personalities who put making a personal profit for their pockets above all other personal objectives. Think about it. Aren’t you inclined to vote for a well dressed rich, smooth talking businessman candidate over a humble pastor dressed in rags who is hard to hear, he speaks so quietly? Jesus would have no chance to win against businessmen candidates in PNG!!!
Only an idiot hasn’t figured out that competitions between MPs to become Prime Minister are nothing more than money games and battles between thieves. Out of all the bribing – I mean fighting - the most conniving or ruthless amongst the thieves rises to the top like fermenting sludge in a sewage pond. The grand prize is not to serve the people, but to gain a fortune. We’re getting ready for another fight, maybe this week. And nearly all of us will cheer for our favourite thief to be the winner.
For any citizen of this country to favour one thief or another is the saddest comment of all about us and the state of the political system we support. The system is totally broken as if it ever really worked. It encourages a never ending cycle of vote buying, power hungry, often egomaniac candidates to jump into the ring, whether it is the ring of candidates for MP or the group of MPs clamouring to become PM.
Yet very shortly we will all join hands to protect this system so that it can select another vote buying, power hungry, possibly egomaniac MP to be our leader. What a laugh the whole circus has become, because it not only includes parliament, but most of the rest of us!!!
Of course, none of us want to look in the mirror to see the real defect that affects our country. It’s less personally embarrassing to blame others, so let’s go back to blaming the MPs. Peter O’Steal, the grandest PNG thief in our history, was supported until recently by more than 105 of the pigs in the now totem-less Grand Pighouse. Not one of them questioned what the citizens were openly discussing about O’Neill’s ethics and crimes. It seems these “leaders” aren’t leaders at all. Instead, they proved themselves to be passive followers of O’Steal, begging like piglets for whatever Grand Thief II would drop from the table as he was feeding his own double chin and growing bel.
If it is true that Peter O’Neill is Satan then these 105+ willingly sold their soul to Satan. Name your favourite governor!!! He was one of Satan’s followers. Name your favourite minister!!! He was one of Satan’s most vocal supporters! Name anyone who has been in the O’Neill government now or before, and you’ve got yourself a true supporter of thievery and corruption. Because every single one of these O’Neill supporters knew from the start that they were electing a man with a very dubious reputation. And still they did it, all in the name of personal greed.

Ha! The chairmanship rotates among member nations and it was nothing more than PNG’s symbolic turn to take the chair, filled by whoever might be Finance Minister at the time, whether it be a professional economist (which Polye is not) or a professional toilet cleaner (which dozens of our MPs should be doing right now in Bomana). Polye’s many pieces of evidence against Peter O’Neill were all there many months ago, yet Polye stayed silent. Why? Because he was still allowed to feed at the pig bowl.
Let’s also not forget Delilah Gore and her now infamous “do you know who I am?” tantrum on the Air Niugini plane. Her behaviour is duly noted, but don’t think it’s unusual for the Grand Pighouse. Our 105+ ratbags are mostly very pleasant people so long as you can convince them that you DO know who they are.
