Divine Word University Reaping off TESAS Student Benefits and Previliedges

While all other students from other Universities in Papua New Guinea are benefiting from the benefits and previlidges which they won to secure their TESAS scholarships, Divine Word University in Madang has been for so many years depriving Students under their TESAS from what is RIGHTFULLY theirs(TESAS Resources Allowance).

The Department of Higher Education Research and Technology(DHERST) has already paid in the first part of the K900 for each TESAS student. Divine Word University Administration has been keeping it a secret so that no student knows.

To make matters worse, a student asked about this allowance during a student Forum. The Student Welfare President, Mr Ted Alau and Mr. Pais Bokarum responded saying that the Student Resource Allowance goes to paying the Internet Bills which each student uses.
However, the response didn’t make any sense since a bit of mathematics would prove that was such response is lame and can only be given to ELEMENTARY STUDENTS.

Here is the Logic:
A Self Sponsor student pays K9000 annual.
A TESAS Student(eg. HECAS) Pays K4680 + TESAS Assisstance K4320 = K9000.
What DWU admin is implying is that an HECAS student would pay a total of K9900(K9000 annual fee + K900 TESAS Resource allowance) to use the same internet that Self Sponsor students are using when they have only paid K9000 only.
So it looks like those students who worked hard to be on TESAS scholarships didn’t work hard for themselves but for the Self Sponsor Students as well. SICK!!!!

Students raised  concerns to the SRC President about it but as the whole Country knows, the DWU SRC President and SRC Reps cannot handle cannot handle issues outside of the Campus or National issues. Which they(DWU SRC) are unpatriotic leaders that were chosen in that cannot support and fight for what is right. Yet they have supported the call from the Administration that money goes to the internet without even reasoning out any logic in it as I have shown the Maths above.

Refer to the TESAS POLICYHANDBOOK 2016 to verify your doubts. We call on the DHRST to investigate the Matter and DWU must give us what is RIGHTFULLY OURS.

AUGUSTINE MANO PNG'S PREMIER CORPORATE CROOK

MARAPE & PAITA ABOUT TO SIGN AWAY PNG GOLD

They have given approval for the STATE of Papua New Guinea to sign away all gold rights to an Australian paper company in Refinery Holdings PTE LTD.
