Minister David Arore’s Secret Strategy For Papua New Guinea University of Technology

Image
By Concerned OHE Staff   Minister David Arore hopes to gain personally by keeping Dr Albert Schram out of PNG for good.   Mr Arore has successfully kept Prof John Pumwa, the Acting VC to do what he wants.  Through Pumwa, the other senior management of the university can be controlled.  In contrast Dr Schram would not turn the other direction and close his eyes if he saw things wrong.   Mr Arore plans to use a few simple steps to create a win win situation for himself out of Unitech Saga.    The first step in minister Arore’s evil plan is to see how much money he can make in return for keeping the Sevua report under wraps.  This is why he announced in parliament last week that he will make a decision on releasing the Sevua report only after another two weeks.  By saying 2 weeks more he is offering more time to those who were mentioned negatively in the Sevua report to pay Mr Arore to keep the report silent. This includes the likes of  former Unitech council members Philip Stagg

By: Concerned Unitech Student Everyone has been coming out in the newspapers speaking well of Dr Albert Shram and demands that he let back into the country and be our VC again. Sir Nagora Bogan of Unitech council has come out strongly in the newspapers for Shram more than once.   Unitech council endorsed Albert Shram to come back with no votes against.  Judge Sevua broke his long silence and said in the newspapers that complaints about Schram are to cover up the corruption of Unitech in the past. The staff association of Unitech has come out in public to strongly support Dr Albert Shram The acting VC Prof Pumwa has come out strongly in his speech to students supporting Dr Shram.  The Pro VCs, Registrar, they all have made public statements to support Shram. The wave of support to bring back Dr Albert Shram is overwhelming with one exception. What happened to SRC president Eddie Nangual. What happened to the voice of SRC.   Did SRC run away in the night or still sleeping. Unitech studen

PNG HERST Minister David Arore Falls Flat On His Face Again

Image
By CONCERNED ACADEMIC It was a simple promise, whose fulfilment might have finally brought UNITECH Saga to a close.    In December, HERST Minister David Arore promised the nation on EMTV that as soon as the festive holiday season was over, he would release the contents of the infamous Sevua report. At last it seemed that the 2 year old UNITECH saga might end, by fulfilling a simple promise!   All the Minister had to do was email the HERST website administrator, tell that fellow to upload the Sevua onto the HERST web page, then attach an electronic copy of the report before before sending off the email.   Simple!  Mission accomplished! Following that, Minister Arore could proudly boast that he done his part to end UNITECH Saga.  Most importantly, UNITECH's students and honest staff and teachers would finally feel that Minister Arore had taken the side of justice, as Albert Schram was reinstated as the resident Vice Chancellor of UNITECH.  Releasing the Sevua report would achieve thi

JULIE BISHOP’S PNG VISIT: A PLOT SO SINISTER!

By KELVIN R. NATATA When the Pope or Queen of England visited PNG last, full State protocol was observed and red carpet laid out for them, with all the ladies and gentry of the former Territories turned up in their finest regalia, and happy flag waving school children lined the streets, shouting and singing various welcome songs composed in their honour. The faithful flew in from every part of the country to pay homage, went away fulfilled and satisfied. One such visit in the early 1970s was by then Australian Prime Minister, Hon John Gorton MP and his wife Lady Gorton. There was a guard of honour led by a very sharp young military officer trained in Australia named, Edward Diro, who was eager to impress. The renowned and ward winning Police Band from the Bomana Police College took their place and played few Frank Sinatra numbers for the tense crowd gathered at the old terminal. The usual who is who among the 100,000 strong expatriate community sat on white chairs. A
