UNITECH FOR PNG Prime Minister Peter O’Neill responded this evening (Monday) to the University of PNG and University of Technology’s petition. In a nine-page letter, the PM responded to the 10 points raised by the universities. IT IS SO EASY TO REBUT THE PM’S INCOMPLETE AND MISLEADING ANSWERS, WITH THEIR MANY HALF TRUTHS, THAT ONLY A FEW SENTENCES ARE NEEDED FOR EACH POINT. THE ODDEST THING OF ALL: WHY HAS THIS PRIME MINISTER MANAGED TO CREATE SO MANY CONTROVERSIES? HE HAD TO ADDRESS TEN OF THEM, AND THERE ARE MANY MORE, SUCH AS THE SABL LAND GRABS THAT HE REFUSES TO REVERSE. 1.UBS LOAN “This matter is before the Court and as such it would be sub judice for me to discuss several aspects at this stage.
