Sir John Pundari's idea to summon KPHL to appear before the PAC is a noble idea in the name of transparency and accountability. The decision to conduct the hearing before the media and live television coverage is brilliant and unprecedented. It must be applauded. The government must formalise this to be the new standard of Public accountability. PM Oniel was overthrown because of secrecy and corruption so the new Marape/Steven Government must embrace it. Of the 320 Recruits now up at Goldie Recruit Training Depot, 253 are Highlanders, 37 Momase, 16 NGI and 14 Southern. Although the Recruiting Age limit is 24, many of the recruits are over age, either using someone else's certificates or bribing their way in. The huge imbalance in regional recruitment has happened through the influence of BG Toropo and his cronies command who are attempting to prepare for the 2022 General Selection. Morata New Block is located along Gerehu back road, portion 2733, University Morata. The portion of the land is estimated about 6-7 hectares with more than 10,000 population including block holders and occupants. That part of the land has recently developed by the block holders with great investment and assets pertained quality buildings (rental homes, guest houses, private duplex, churches). The Urban Development Lease (UDL) of that portion of the land has been illegally obtained by an investor named Sixth Estate Limited which has been brought to court since 2011. All of them, on both sides of the house, including the middle bench, have the "WHAT IF" question playing at the back of their minds and is dictating how they hold themselves out among their piers. The reason is simple - the stakes will be high, given the fact that the outcome of this Supreme Court decision will determine who will be Prime Minister going into the elections in 2022. . If the Supreme Court finds no illegality in process applied to elect the Prime Minister then it is a certainty that James Marape will rule as PM into the 2022 national election. His Wakenakun tribe is the smallest tribe of less than 200 population in Kompiam central LLG.
