IS UPNG GOING TO THE DOGS? MORE EVIDENCE IT IS

Image
by SOLOMON AWILI  I am a Senior Lecturer and currently the Head of Banking and Finance Division at the School of Business and Public Policy and has a PHD in Finance from Flinders Uni in Australia and declare before God and man that what is written on the Reference was actually written by the said Indian Lecturer. I have a similar Reference which was picked up lying around at the printer area. Once we call up the concerned student (because I believe he or she should have a copy of the signed Reference) the truth will then be revealed. This is not a joke.  In fact this is a serious real issue of concern and it is indeed frightening. To confirm whether these fake qualification holders are literate or not my call is ask them to as a matter of urgency sit for the internationally recognized and accepted International English Language Test (IELTS) to test their speaking, writing, hearing and reading capabilities and see the results.  I am very convinced beyond any doubt that the tru

OUSTED PM COMMENTS OF ECONOMIC CRISIS HE ORCHESTRATED

Image
by MECK PAIA The very outlandish Former Prime Minister Peter Oneill does not demonstrate that he has any real gauge of what has transpired on the floor of parliament recently and its universal implications. This is a synopsis of what it means to be voted out as a Prime Minister: 1- You have failed 2- You have lost your following 3- You have been rejected 4- Your party and its policies are shunned 5- Your socio-economic perspective is irrelavant 5- You are now the Opposition Present 'chain of circumstance' actions to take: 1- Eat humble pie 2- Admit errors 3- Engage in positive debate 4- Play 'mans game' opposition 5- Concentrate on get back into parliament come 2022. PNG is for our kids not our egos. We must think big, not think marbles and play native politics with kickback deals and silly dead end politics. PMJM in his wisdom has recruited the most astute candidate he has in his line up, in Hon. Ian Ling-Stuckey. Ling-Stuckeys competence has been demonstrated on the

PASCOE KASE'S MEDICAL SUPPLY MONEY LAUNDERING SCHEME GETS EXPOSED BY PAC

Image
The greatest money laundering Scheme in Health Department is now coming to surface as PAC continues to interrogate the Health Secretary Mr Pascoe Kase. BORNEO PACIFIC PHARMACEUTICALS LTD, started as a small pharmaceutical company in 2001 and after just 2 years, in 2013 without compliant to ISO 2001 standardized, the company was awarded huge contract worth Millions of kina from PNG Department of Health to procure and supply Pharmaceutical products to all Aid Post, Health centers and Public Hospitals across the country. BORNEO PACIFIC PHARMACEUTICALS LTD even though Failed to produce ISO 2001 Complaint documents, Was awarded a contract. How did they get that contract from PNG Health Department? As revealed by the Secretary of Health Department Mr Pascoe Kase today (30/10/0219) when asked by PAC, the Company was Nominated by PNG National Tenders Board through technical advice from the Department of Health Technical Advisory Team. Very Interestingly, Mr Pascoe stretched that his technica

PAC INQUIRY INTO KPHL AND MY APOLOGY TO THE NATION

Image
by BEN MICAH Good evening my esteemed friends and people of Papua New Guinea. I wish to give my thoughts on the PAC/KPHL debate as well as offer my personal apologies to our people. Sir John pundari’s idea to summon KPHL to appear before the PAC is a noble idea in the name of transparency and accountability. The decision to conduct the hearing before the media and live television coverage is brilliant and unprecedented. It must be applauded. The government must formalise this to be the new standard of Public accountability. PM O’Niel was overthrown because of secrecy and coruption so the new Marape/Steven Government must embrace it. At first, I was wondering what it is our good PAC chairman was attempting to achieve? But now i understand that Sir John is attempting to expose some huge corruption scandal at KPHL and misappropriation of the PNGLNG proceeds. Thank God for Sir John. Even though Sir John Pundari is never known to be an anti corruption campaigner at all, I applaud his

IS PETER O'NEILL ABOVE THE LAW?

Image
by S.Y  PAIA ADELAIDE - I am a proud Papua New Guinean who will always stand very tall and speak boldly, loudly and clearly knowing that PNG is one of the best democracies. In this context I have some observations to make on the saga of the attempted arrest of former prime minister Peter Charles Paire O'Neill, another critical moment in the history of PNG’s political development. Unfortunately, we once again see heightened evidence of corruption and power manipulation at the expense of PNG’s potential to develop and to fully use its natural, human and social resources to become a prosperous country. According to available evidence, O’Neill had a calculated personal agenda when he entered the doors of PNG’s parliament in 2002 as the member for Ialibu Pangia in the Southern Highlands Province. O’Neill was soon entrusted with the portfolio of labour and industrial relations by the government of Sir Michael Somare. But the new man had other ideas and was transf

The motive is very clear

Image
by ROB AGEN The interview with former PM Peter O’Neill last night (Wed 16/October) at Boroko Police Station wasn't about fighting corruption. It wasn't about doing what is right? Peter O’Neill was saved from spending a night in jail by a very smart lawyer. The whole thing wasn't planned properly. I also hear the Fraud Squad were not even aware of it when the announcement was made in social media that the former PM should turn himself in for an interview with the Police. The noise (just hot air) was created to impress PMJM and the new cabinet so that Manning is appointed as the new PC on a permanent basis. Former PM PO was a sheep brought to the slaughter House for the killing last night but fortunate for him his new Lawyer was very smart. These things have to be planned, coordinated and executed properly. You are trying to arrest the former Prime Minister of our country for corruption, for goodness sakes, do it properly Former PM PO now also k

FORMER PM MUST NOT MISLEAD THE NATION

Image
by CHARLIE CLYDE TIKARO Former PNG Prime Minister Peter O’Neill made an interesting, yet a hilarious comment in reference to his recent warrant of arrest issued by Waigani District Court last Friday. It appears that 99% of the comment contradicted his own heedless actions when he was in the chair of the Prime Minister. He only makes travesty of himself like what comedians does. An important verse in O’Neill’s comment to note: “I will make myself available at any time to hear this complaint, but I warn any member of the RPNGC who might be part of the Police Minister’s political unit, to think carefully and respect and honour the oath you swore to our nation. This is a time for our hard-working men and women in our disciplined services to remember that you are independent of politics and should not be part of this Kramer corruption and the misuse of out proud police force.” (Unquoted) Public opinion is - when was the last time O’Neill made himself available for police questioning when
