THE PANGIAN PYTHON STRIKES AGAIN - NEW PREY POLICE COMMISSIONER

Image
by MICHAEL JOSEPH PASSINGAN Prime Minister Peter O’Neill is sneaking up behind Gari Baki to stab him in the back and get rid of him as Police Commissioner. O’Neill believes Baki is mentally unstable and fears he might go on an even worse shooting party than at UPNG. High-level sources say PM is also trying to distance himself from the shooting of UPNG students last month, which was directed personally by Baki and using his personally controlled rogue elements. I am advised by highly confidential insiders that the finger of blame for giving the order to shoot at students will be pointed at Baki. PM’s secret weapon in the police force, Lowa Tambua, has reported to the boss that Baki can no longer be relied on to do what he is told or to keep himself and his men under control. Tambua is the one who has been given full responsibility for organizing a replacement. He makes most of the strategic decisions for all Commissioners (Kulunga, Geofrey Vaki, and now Baki) and in fact c

THE CORRUPT PROTECT EACH OTHER TO STAY IN POWER:

Image
by JOE PEA NAKISI A year or so ago a very revealing article was published in PNG Blogs that laid out a kind of high level government mafia of past and present PMs who collaborated not in any formal sense, but by shared interests. They all eventually succumbed to temptation due to spineless personal ethics and convictions. Once trapped by their corruption, they protected the corruption of others to keep their own corruption from being exposed. Thus, we have the odd fellows partnership in today's O'Neill government of the PM with former PMs Wingti, Chan and Somare, all schemers and personal wealth builders while they were paid to be public servants. The lightning fast reaction of Peter O'Neill late yesterday to the UPNG Senate Council's cancellation of the 2016 school year was probably an illustration of this. Chief Propagandist Isaac Lupari may no longer work in the media unit, but he remains deeply involved in spreading the Prime Minister's messages, includi

SHP STUDENTS CALL FOR AWESA TO STEP DOWN

Image
by NAIK MALCOLM I as an Imbongu Citizen Would like to call for Mr Francis Awesa to Step Down.  This is to the Works and Implementation Minister Mr Awesa, How much lives have you saved from the tribal fights in Southern Highlands Province. How much securities have you provide for those who suffered in the name of tribal fight.   Mr Awesa has saved no live in the most tribal fights in Southern Highlands Province. Yet, Mr Awesa is asking the VC to save the lives of the students during the time of trouble while the poor VC and the Unitech administration trying their very best to protect the students.   And Mr Awesa should be blamed for the death of the student because Mr Awesa as an Imbongu MP, he did not take responsibility to warn his student to return to class when the tension is very high.  Mr Awesa even failed to send police to protect the Imbongu students when he knew that his students are at risk in the campus. Yes, Mr Awesa and all the Member of the parliament and the

O’NEILL AND POWI SET UP LNG DEVELOPMENT LEVY SLUSH FUND

Image
by MICHAEL J PASSINGAN Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and Southern Highlands Governor William Powi have set up a secret slush fund using the PNG LNG Development Levies intended for the Southern Highlands Provincial Government and LLGs. The money going into the slush fund is supposed to be paid by the PNG LNG operators direct to the Provincial Treasury. Instead O’Neill and Powi are diverting the cash into a secret account to be set up under NEC decision No. 70/2016 on 22 March this year. The decision was signed by Mr O’Neill, who is recognized internationally as the most corrupt politician in the Pacific. Grave fears are held for the security of the funds, which rightfully belong to the Southern Highlands Provincial Government and project landowners. The Development Levy is 2% of the wellhead value of all production from PNG LNG, and by now amounts to hundreds of millions of kina. The NEC decision states that the Provincial Government should set up the account with a “thi

EMERGING STORY OF UNITECH SRC PRESIDENT DAVID KELMA'S INITIAL CORRUPTION IN CREATING THE UNITECH DEBACLE:

Image
NIUGINI OUTLOOK Now that the Unitech SRC is in disarray and discredited from several sides, the Facebook site is no longer being censored by the moderators as had been the case when the boycott first started and any negative comments against Kelma were quickly removed and repeat offenders were banned. As a result, we are seeing a broader range of comments and no attempt anymore at giving automatic respect for anyone. This Niugini Outllook reproduces the posting by 'Maniboi Nuncio' on the Unitech Facebook site. Following that copied and pasted posting, we provide a commentary asking why, during all this time, David Kelma or other SHP leaders still have not come forward with their version of what happened. -------------------------- -------------------------- ------- Posted by Maniboi Nuncio > PNG University of Technology Well done the SRC President David Kelma for the best planning and well executed plan carried out regarding the boycotti

OUR PM MAKES SOME QUICK BUCKS OFF THE UNITECH TRAGEDY:

Image
NIUGINI OUTLOOK During this week, most SHP students from Unitech made their way up to their homes from Lae using PMV. Actually very many of the students wanted to show their respect to the murdered student Graham Romanong and stand up against his Engan killers. These students remained in Lae at the haus krai just outside of Lae city and are still present. Two plane loads of privileged SHP students however were able to return to Mendi in style, free of bumpy roads and possible security concerns. They were lown to Mendi on Peter O'Neill's Southwest Air planes on Tuesday and Wednesday (28 and 29 June). All SHP students would have loved such treatment , we are certain. As we all know, Unitech students were desperate to get off campus following the killing of a student and the burning down of several structures. When Office of Higher Education responded with nothing more than mauswara as usual, Governors of several provinces responded by arranging for air

PRIME MINISTER BLAMES OPPOSITION FOR UNI CHAOS

Image
PAPUA NEW GUINEA, PETER O’NEIL MASTER OF THIEVERY, TRICKERY AND PATHOLOGICAL LIAR FOUND WAY BLAMING OPPOSITION FOR THE CHAOTIC SITUATIONS IN UNIVERSITIES – LAME EXCUSE. by LEKEM LAKI The recent turn of events involving student body boycotting classes from all premier institutions turned sour. A life is gone, properties destroyed and damaged worth millions of tax payers money. Others inflicted with pain and misery and surely it largely affected the academic year. Others are incarcerated for having a hand in the destruction of properties or for termination of life of a young promising and potential leader (in whatever pursued he would be in life). Stakeholders are either in relax mood or to simply put, ignored because of arrogance and stubbornness. Thinking these are just mere students and they won’t go too far by boycotting of classes in the cause of demanding corrupt and pathologically notorious liar Peter O’Neil to step down or step aside and give into police. Everything

WHITE-WASH WARWICK ANDREW APPOINTED COMMISSIONER OF ANOTHER COI?

Image
by PETRUS AKA Not again, Not again! This country, at this time when we are in Financial Crisss, cannot afford another expensive COI to be headed by a retired judge. Not only that, this sleezy retired judge does the bidding for whoever pays him. Will he do it this time, ably assisted by the highly paid lawyers? I doubt he woudn't. Looking at the merits, students protests did not recieve the level of attention it needed. Now they are passing the buck. Who is the likely target here? The students? Are the students the cause of the strike? What is the real issue? What would be the outcome of this inquiry and how would the country benefit from this inquiry. I'd say its just deflection as PM always does it. He chose his best pick to do the dirty work for him.

MORE REVELATIONS ON WHAT HAPPENED AT UNITECH

Image
NIUGINI OUTLOOK We are of the feeling that we are getting closer and closer to the truth of what has happened at Unitech with regard to corruption of the boycott, and start of the tribal war. We have had people who came forward of their own choice and reported to us what has been happening at Unitech. Some have provided bits and pieces of information, others have presented a fuller story. Adding to that we have found ways to get in contact with some other people who are based at Unitech. The stories they gave we compared with the other stories. Not every detail matches, but the wonderful thing about how truth works is that when you put together enough eyewitness accounts, a consistent picture emerges of at least some of the details. The detail of most importance is of course who started the violent clash between students. Whoever started that clash started the whole tribal conflict at Unitech, which resulted in the tragic death Saturday night. The evidence all points to the f
