However, given the circumstance surrounding rumors that the elections in Hela was rigged, there is now evidence surfacing that speaks volumes. Remember, numbers don't lie.  On an interview with EMTV on the 9th of July 2017, Marape himself claimed that he was declared on 50% majority on the first count, to be exact 30,192, which means that the total eligible voters for Tari Pori in 2017 election was about 60,000 plus. However, looking back on past elections, it appears the numbers don't add up. In 2007, total eligible voters for Tari Pori was 37,473. He scored 6,147 1st prefence votes to win (roughly 12% of the voters). In 2012, total voters were 40,039 of which he scored 13,661 of 1st preference votes (34% of the total votes). INTELLIGENCE REPORT: DETECTION OF FOUL PLAY IN THE POM NW BY-ELECTION AT MURRAY BARRACKS COUNTING VENUE FACTS 1. On Friday 04 June 21 all ballot boxes for Ward 7 were stored at Murray Barracks Ben Moide Club before counting began on Tuesday 08 June 21. At approximate timings of 2000 - 2100 hours an unmarked vehicle 10 seater white in color drove into BMC. The driver of the vehicle approached one of the Military Police Guards and asked for the key of the container the boxes were stored in. There were 3x MPs guarding the ballot boxes locked inside the container at that particular time.  The MP’s responded that they don’t have the key. One of the MPs reported that after asking for the key he jumped back onto his vehicle and drove off. It was plain darkness as all lights were off due to the blackout from PNG Power and the guards could not recognize the person fully as well as the vehicle registration. 2. Close friends and associates close to the two men confirm their very close relationship going back many years. It is no wonder Anthony Smare engaged Arthur Somare to start the negotiations with the Land Owners of Pogera when the lease expired last year. Somare was paid as a Barrick Lobbyist or the go between Barrick and the Government to ease tensions and allow for Barrick to keep the status-quo and run the mine without reviewing the licensing agreements.  This has has not gone down well with Landowners who wanted to know why Arthur Somare was involved in yet another screwed up negotiations, remember Arthur screwed up the LNG project nearly selling out PNG. by KERA MANDA Minister Mining cautions the State, Kumul Minerals and Barrick that under the Mining Act before a Development Forum takes place, the following statutory requirements must be met: 1) A new Mining Development Contract must be signed with the SML11 Tenement holder, KUMUL MINERALS.  That has not happened. (It may not happen given that Barrick is questioning SML11 and calling for a Sound SML). 2) Minister has identified problems with the existing SML Landowner representatives. He wants to fix that first. Kandakasi has also highlighted this. Mark Ekepa Team has also highlighted this.  3) Minister stated that "...if Barrick is going to be a Partner with KMHL, then the Partnership has to be properly registered under PNG Law, because the MDC negotiations will only be with the holder of the SML11 Tenement KMHL...this is the Law regardless of the Framework Agreement ". All evidences attached including a Memo from Former PPC Ben Neneo stopping OIC CID Yalamu from conducting Investigation into Bran Bell Fraud. PYs children were arrested last week.
