In this press conference by the Electoral Commissioner Patilias Gamato, he said that RO Max Yomba declared Lucas Dawa as Member-elect for Gumine Open Seat at Dicksons Oval in Kundiawa. The Electoral commissioner also said after that that the RO Peter Kalpe declared Nick Kuman as Member-elect for Gumine Open Seat "here at the Electoral Commission's office before the Deputy Electoral Commissioner ". This is an extraordinary document .  Amongst the detail is a damning insight into O’Neill’s continuing mismanagement of the budget. There is little doubt that the original 2017 budget was fiscally fraudulent (see here  and here ). The PNG Treasury document indicates, in summary: The budget deficit is over K1 billion larger than forecast only 7 months ago.  The PNG Treasury document states the deficit has increased from K1,9bn to K2.8bn. This will continue the pattern of the O’Neill government having consistently the largest budget deficits of any government in PNG’s history – see here . And the actual deficit forecast is actually over K3bn when including the blowout in interest costs for all the public debt from K1.3bn to K1.5bn. THE attempts to kidnap three newly-elected members of parliament in Papua New Guinea are a sign of desperation by People's National Congress leaders. There was no proper, free and fair elections for our people up in Kotidanga to make their own choice. The polling officials and auxillary policemen from the local area all collaborated to mark ballot papers in favour of sitt ing MP Richard Mendani who hails from Kotidanga LLG. We have gathered information that the polling officials and auxillary policemen were all bribed during the polling period. Richard Mendani was trailing badly but when 11 boxes from Kotidanga were counted, he collected 5,445 votes while everyone else collected nothing.
